Chapter Seven

Natsumi's P.O.V


Sitting at my desk I keep glancing to my phone hoping Kaoru will text me, he said he would if he had the time, also if I text him I don't want to look desperate. Jeez, I'm bad with these sort of things, I wonder how Yui is handling her date.

I bash my head against the head three times before looking to the right seeing my phone once again. I pick up the phone and open it. Going into messages I see it says {no new messages}.

Sighting I put the phone down and grab my notebook and start writing down information for Maths and science. Maybe I should practise my piano playing... Yui and I learned together but she is more into the violin whereas I love the piano.

I look down to the Maths book I have beside the notebook. Picking it up I look down to it reading it through. My mind goes dizzy @_@. I don't understand any of this.

I skip Maths for a moment and pick up my science book and read through it. @_@. I don't understand this either.

I hit my head on the table five times now. Going for the six time there is a loud noise and I fall out of my spinning chair. Reaching my hand up I grab my phone which was ringing.

"H-Hello?" I ask.

"Yo it's me, Kaoru"

"Ah hi" I say blushing slightly. "What's up?"

"Just took the words out of my mouth" He says.

"I'm studying... But it's not getting very far, I hardly understand any of it" I say sitting myself back in my chair holding my head "And I have a headache"

"What happened?" He asks me sounding slightly worried.

"I hit my head on my desk... Eight times" I say.

"Well that's kind of stupid" He says laughing slightly making my heart beat faster "So, you still up for our date tomorrow?"

"Ah! Yeah I am" I smile to myself.

"Great, I need to tell you something as well" He says suddenly changing the mood.

"Oh? What is it?" I ask

There is silence.

I wait for a moment.

There is rustling in the background of where Kaoru is and them he answers me "I'll tell you tomorrow, see ya tomorrow Natsumi"

"Ah! By-"

There is a beeping noise. He hung up on me.

That wasn't a very long conversation...


Beside... What does he want to tell me?
