Chapter Sixteen

Yui's P.O.V


Me and Natsumi walk through Ouran academy as opposites. Pretending to be each other is pretty easy, we can talk the same, pretty much talk the same, I just think Natsumi is more quiet and chilled out, as for me, I can be loud.

I have told Natsumi while she pretends to be me she can dump Hikaru or we can both ignore him altogether, we need to confuse him as much as we can.

"Good morning Yui-San! Natsumi-San!" A girl in our class calls out to us giving us a wave.

I bet she doesn't know which one is which, even if we have swapped.

Entering the classroom me and Natsumi sit beside each other pushing our desks a little bit closer than usual.

"You'll be fine" I whisper to Natsumi "Just say you're Yui"

"Hai" Natsumi nods.



Natsumi grabs my hand as we reach the host clubs door. I open the door and enter with Natsumi 'Yui'.

"Yui! Natsumi!" Tamaki cheers and rushes over to us giving us a hug, I give a small smile trying my best to act like Natsumi.

"Please don't" Natsumi as Yui squirms in Tamaki's arms.

Tamaki puts us down and Natsumi brushes the imaginary dust off her yellow dress and sighs "So annoying Tamaki, you should go hug your bear"

"But I haven't seen you two together in a while, I missed it, so I just had to hug you" Tamaki squeals and then grabs my cheeks "You're healing Natsumi!"

"H-Hai" I say giving him a smile.

I really really want to punch him right now and tell me to leave me alone but Natsumi wouldn't never punch anything in her whole entire life (she may throw stuff about), she couldn't even squash a fly! Natsumi would let it happen and she would laugh.

"It is great to see you two both back" Kyouya gives us a smile "Would you like a cup of tea in our spare time?"

"Sure" Natsumi shrugs as in 'whatever'.

"I would love to" I say giving a smile.

I must get my way through this for a full day!


Me and Natsumi sit opposite the hosts while we drink our coffee.

"We have missed you Yui" Kaoru says to Natsumi still thinking I am Natsumi.

"I'm glad I could get away" Natsumi says folding her arms "I was sick anyway"

"I'm just so glad you could come back with me today Yui" I say my teeth clench once I say it, I can see Natsumi is finding it hard.

Just when I open my mouth to say something the bell for next lesson "Let's go Yui!" I grab Natsumi's hand and drag her out of the door with a sour smile on my face.




Waiting outside of Ouran Academy I sit on a bench, Natsumi is pretending to be me and break up with Hikaru. Holding onto my head I sigh. I can't believe is has to turn out like this...

I hear some sniffing as in someone crying.

Turning around I see Natsumi crying, standing up I give her a sad frown.

"I-I broke up with Hikaru, I'm sorry Yui, sorry"

I hug Natsumi "Don't cry, we can do this, we have gone through a day as opposites"

"I-I can't let Kaoru hurt you. Especially went I just hurt Hikaru"

"He'll understand"

"but-"

"Natsumi" I cut her off "You've been the good one and you deserve to be treated right, I won't let some ginger baka hurt you"

"Thank you"
