Chapter Fifteen

Looking out of the window, I am already prepared to tell Natsumi my plan so she can come home, Kaoru is already convinced I am Natsumi. If I get Natsumi to pretend to be me then she can come back to school. But then there is Hikaru... I sigh.

But if we convince everything I'm Natsumi then Hikaru will have to believe it to. Even is Natsumi has to pretend she is me she'll have to break it off with Hikaru. I rub my face with my hands.

"Miss, we have arrived" Jeffery tells me as he opens the door for me.

Climbing out of the car I walk to the front door of my house, opening it I walk into the kitchen and put my bag down ignoring my parents who sit there.

Turning around I bow slightly to let them know I have indeed acknowledge them. Walking out of the kitchen I go up the stairs and turn to the right where mine and Natsumi's bedroom door waits for me.

Opening the door I find Natsumi sitting on our bed writing.

"Yui! You're hurt!" Natsumi demands dropping her papers on the bed rushing over to me taking hold of my shoulder. She examines my face. "Did Kaoru do this?!"

I didn't answer her, I avert my eyes from hers.

"Yui! Answer me!" She yells

"I have come up with a plan" I say calmly.

"What plan?" she snaps at me.

"I'll pretend to be you so you don't get hurt, you can return to school and pretend to be me. You can call it off with Hikaru and do what you want as me" I say "We done this before, swapped places"

Natsumi clenches her teeth and slaps me across the face. My cheek stings from the hit. Biting my lip slightly I look back at her.

"Natsumi" I say

"Yui! How can you say something like that so calmly! You love Hikaru and for me to pretend to be you and break up with him, won't you be upset?!"

"Natsumi, I'm doing what is right" I say

She starts crying making me start crying as well.

"B-But we are just going to end up hurt! And both of the other twins, mainly Hikaru will be crushed. Yui he knows which one of us is which!" Natsumi sobs.

I wipe my tears but they keep falling "We are just going to have to convince Hikaru. Natsumi, what if we can't find ourselves? What if we forget which twin we once were? What if we already have? What if I'm meant to be Natsumi and you Yui. I can't help but feel..."

Natsumi hugs me tightly as we cry "I'm sorry for agreeing to Kaoru and letting you do this to save me"

"Natsumi. Saving you and helping you is all I have ever wanted" I squeeze.

Natsumi wails as we hug.




I promise I won't let anything hurt you again.
