12: Vow

I got home and hung up my keys. "I'm back Daniel!" I said smiling but it faded once I went into the living room. Daniel was still playing on his Xbox in the same spot since I left to get the groceries and the bank.

He never said anything and I was so tired of it. "Did you eat?" I asked standing next to him but he never tore his eyes off of the TV. "Nope."

I felt the anger bubble inside me and I stomped into our room and fell on the bed screaming into my pillow. I love Daniel with all my heart but he doesn't care about me like he use to.

"I vow to love and cherish you. To grow old with each other, to never lose my love for you, and to always put you first."

I cried remembering what he told me at our wedding. He never kept it. I got up and went out to try again. I sat next to him and rested my head on his shoulders and he jumped. "God Y/n you're gonna make me lose." He said angrily. I don't even think he noticed the tears that fell on his arm.

"I was thinking that maybe we can go out tonight. We haven't went on a date in a long time." I said looking up at him smiling. "Can't, I'm going out with Joseph later." He said and I frowned.

"Um what about tomorrow?" I said hopefully. "Can't you just get off my back!?" He yelled pausing his game. I stood up and let the tears fall. "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I yelled sobbing and he looked at me with soft eyes. "Y/n..."

"NO! I'm so tired of you! You never do shit and you don't even have a job! I have to do everything here and all you do is sit on the couch all day and you don't even listen to me anymore!" I yelled and sat down putting my face in my hands. "Just pack your bags and get out."

He sat down next to me and put his arm around me pulling me into his arms. "I'm sorry Y/n... I-I swear I will change." He said. "Shut up you said that last time, just please do me a favor and leave, I will get the divorce papers tomorrow."

"What!? No Y/n please! I love you and I have never stopped. Don't do this to us, I promise I will be better. I don't want to leave you. I vowed to grow old with you. You can toss out the Xbox or maybe just return it and get your money back. Anyways I will go out and look for a job. I will love and cherish you. Please don't leave me..."

I sighed and got up unplugging the Xbox and he looked at me with wide eyes and he was about to say something but I raised my eyebrow which made him lean back on the couch and keep his mouth shut.

I put it in the a box and put it next to the table so I can return it later. "You have 2 days to prove to me that you changed." I said and he nodded quickly. "I will be the best I can be, thank you so much!" He said standing up and hugging me kissing my cheek.

"So how about we go out tonight, How does that sound?" He smiled. "Perfect." I said and hugged him. I can't believe I'm forgiving him so easily but I love him a lot and just saying the word divorce had me broken inside and out.

I think I finally have the old Daniel back and I never want to lose him again. "Start getting ready beautiful we will leave in 2 hours." He smiled and went into the hallway bathroom and I heard the shower start. I giggled and ran to the bathroom excited for what he has planned.
