17: Vampire

I groaned in the car. "Mommmm take me backkk." I whined but she ignored me. I'm going back to school after one week of Spring Break. I think that is unfair and we should get more time!

We got there and I grabbed my backpack. "Okay bye Evelyn have fun." She said. "Fun?" I asked and she shrugged. "Bye." I mumbled getting out. I dragged my feet until I got to the school doors. I walked normally going to my locker grabbing my chemistry book closing it. Junior year sucks. "EVELYN!" I heard someone shout next to me and I jumped. "Jesus Destiny!" I yelled and she laughed.

"Sorry I'm just happy to see you, you know you fell of the face of the earth for the whole break right?" She wasn't wrong. I spent most of my time reading, eating, watching tv, and sleeping. "Yeah well the outside burns my skin." I said giving her a sheepish smile. "Okay little vampire let's go to Science class."

Once we got there we sat next to our friends Valaria, Hailey, and Maddie. "Hey guys." I said sitting next to Hailey. "SHE'S ALIVE!" Val exclaimed. "Okay enough with that." I said giggling and they joined.

The first bell rang and everyone started filing into class. I started to play on my phone but suddenly I felt weird. I looked up and saw a guy already staring at me. It feels like there is an electrical pull that makes me just want to pounce and him and kiss him.

What am I thinking!? I calmed myself down and looked at my friends to see them already staring at him. "Sweet Jesus he is hot" I heard Maddie whisper and we all nodded in agreement. I saw him smirk. Did he hear us? We are in back in the class with chatty people around us he can't possibly hear us. He walked towards us and I felt my heart start racing. He sat in front of my which kind of calmed me down but my heart was still thumping violently in my chest.

Class passed by excruciatingly slow. When the bell rang I suddenly stopped feeling so suffocated knowing that I finally get to get away from him. Yet I also want to stay. I mentally groaned grabbing my bag rushing out not waiting for the other girls.

I opened my locker looking into the mirror. "You're going crazy Evelyn get a hold of yourself!" I said to myself. I straightened out my hair and grabbed my Economics book putting my chemistry one back.

"Hey." Someone said when I closed my locker and I jumped. Why is everyone scaring me in my locker today?! I looked up and saw electric guy. (A/n: Get it? Cause how he made her feel 😂) "Oh hello." I breathed out. He is so hot I feel like crying.

"I need to talk to you." He said grabbing my hand and taking me outside to the school garden. I flinched because his hand was super cold and I felt electricity shooting through my arm. "What are you doing!? I don't even know you!"

"I'm Daniel, there now you know me." He said letting go of my hand and I sat down on the bench. "What's your name?" He asked. "You basically kidnapped me just to get my name?!" I yelled. "First of all I didn't kidnap you, second What's your name?" He repeated calmly. "Evelyn." I simply said.

"Was that so hard?" He smiled. I huffed but had a hidden smile. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked. "Well you might not believe this and I might be putting too much stuff on you but you need to know now." He said slowly and I nodded.

"I'm a vampire." He said shrugging. "Good one, now hurry and tell me." I said losing my patience. "I'm not kidding, do you want me to prove it?" He asked and I laughed. "Okay go for it." I said.

He opened his mouth and I could have sworn I saw something move inside his gums. Two sharp teeth finally poked out from where I saw the movement. I gasped jumping up from the bench backing away. "What is this? What are you?" My voice was weary.

"I told you. Vampire, and you. You are my mate." He said standing up.

Mate? No this can't be. This only happens in stories and movies. I didn't even know vampires can have mates I thought it was only werewolves. What am I saying they don't exist! Well I guess I don't know that if there is a bloody (not literally) vampire in front of me! "I have been looking for you for centuries my beloved. I need you." He walked closer to me grabbing my shaky hands.

"Together we can be King and Queen of all the vampires." A KING?! "You're a king?" I whispered. "A prince next in line for the throne. My "grandfather" wants to pass it down to me once I found my mate, marked her, and mated her."

Me? A queen? I actually love the sound of that. "I-I need to think about this." I said running back into the school. I would ditch but I would have no where to go and I have no money right now. The bell rung about ten minutes ago so I went into the bathroom not wanting to go into class and be questioned. I sighed sitting down on the counter near the mirror.

Later

It was after school now and the whole day I couldn't think straight. The girls were concerned but I waved them off and went into the Library at lunch. I knew I needed to talk to Daniel now. Apparently he needs me.

I walked out into the garden and saw him already there. I think we both knew we were gonna meet there. I sat next to him on the bench from before and he looked at me smiling putting his hand on mine loving the feeling I get now. "Made up your mind?" He asked.

"Yeah...I don't really have a choice but even if I did I will still chose this one." I said looking into his light honey eyes (A/n: JUST PRETEND GUYS 😂) "That's great!" He exclaimed. "On one condition." I said and he frowned.

"Just give me some time. I'm only a junior. I'm not ready to lose my virginity or become queen so fast." I said.

"Take all the time you need...But not too long who knows how long I can hold it in." He said and we laughed. "Want to go for a run?" He asked. "Oh no thanks, I don't run that's gross." I said and he laughed. "No I meant I will put you on my back and I run in vampire speed." He explained. "Then hell yeah! I didn't even think that was real, lets go mate!" I said nudging him and he grabbed my waist dipping me. "I love when you say that." He said pressing his lips to mine.

I responded quickly and he pulled away which made me get a feeling of emptiness. "Let's go." He smirked quickly putting me on his back and running off full speed.

Yay finally an update!! This is my last week of school so when summer vaca comes I will have tons of time to update!
