14: Cheer Girl

(Another one of those cliché imagines 😊)

"Oh my gosh mom please stop." I said as she tried to grab my head and kiss it. "Just....one...kiss" She said struggling to get my head as I laughed. I let her then quickly got out of the car grabbing my school bag.

"4:30 right?" She asked putting the window down. "Yeah!" I yelled while walking. I have cheer tryouts which I am judging after school.

"Y/N!" Jade squealed running up to me and giving me a hug. "Hey Jade! You have your stuff ready for practice right?" I asked her. "Of course I do miss cheer captain." She said and laughed. "What about you?"

"Yeah my stuff is in my locker." "HEY GIRLS!" Jennifer said strutting and when she reached us she strikes a pose. "Hey Jenn!" "Hi Jenny!"

"Soooo who is ready for their first day as cheer captain." Jenn said nudging me. "Oh you know...FANTASTIC." I said and we laughed.

We went to our lockers that where right next to each other and I was in the middle. That's also how we met. We always saw each other every passing period and we all just clicked.

Let me tell you a bit before I more on. We are the, as other people might put it, "Queen bees." I don't really like it because it just reminds me of those snotty brats in the stories but we are actually nice people. Some people don't even want to get to know us and they automatically assume we are sluts and have loads of boyfriends.

They just really believe this is a fan fiction. "So I heard there is a hot new guy coming in." Jade said letting out the latest gossip. "Let's see who wins him over." I said and we giggled.

"Hey babe." And of course there is always that one player guy. Lucky for me he doesn't go for EVERYONE. Just a couple, but he has been flirting with me since freshman year he just never gets the hint.

"What Oliver?" I asked annoyed putting on my chap stick. "So maybe junior year will be our lucky year." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Oliver just go to your hot ass guy friends and leave us alone." Jenn said looking in back of him and blowing a kiss to one of his friends. I'm not gonna lie we might act like snobs at times but it's the power of popularity. Sometimes I wish I was in the shadows.

Oliver walked off giving his boys high fives probably telling them this fake story. "Let's go to the office, the newbie is probably still there." Jenn said and we walked to the office.

"OH MY GOSH RIGHT THERE!" Jade exclaimed and quickly moved away from the door and hid when he turned to look. "Any louder?!" I whisper shouted and she rolled her eyes. "Let's go talk to him." I said.

"Hey." I said and he turned around. "Oh hi." He stood up from his chair and walked in front of us. "So do you have everything that you need?" I asked him. "Yeah I'm just waiting for the bell to ring." He replied.

"Let me see your schedule." Jenn said and snatched it out of his hands and I rolled my eyes. "Sorry" I whispered and he smiled nodding. I looked over Jenn's shoulder curious also. "YES HE HAS PERIOD ONE WITH ME!" Jade shouted then quickly looked up to see him giving her a confused look and I laughed.

"Hey looks like you can be louder." I said while laughing and she punched my arm. I closed my mouth and muffled my laughs. He only has too and kind of a half classes with me. Ceramics, music class, and Homeroom. Yes I have two electives since I took some classes over summer vacation. (A/n: you know you can actually do that. They let us take Geometry during vacation in my school.)

I took the paper from Jenn and gave it back to him then the bell rang. "You have homeroom with me." I said smiling. "Oh cool, let's walk together." I felt my face burn. No go has ever made me do that, I learned ro have no emotions with them. Oh geez.
