Finding rose chapter 12



I woke up this morning with an alarm going off just as my parents strode through my bedroom door with waffles and singing the birthday song. Well this is a surprise.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSE!" My mother cheered rushing forward to hug me. "Thanks." I said groggily.

"Eat your waffles fast! School starts in an hour!" My mother said cheerfully as she strode out of my bed room.



"Happy birthday baby." My father said as he closed the door behind him. I walked to my closet and settled on a cute light coral dress that just reached above my knee. It had a cris crossed top with a small sweetheart neckline and a flowing bottom. I slipped some white 2 inch heals on and grabbed a cute white purse; putting my phone in my purse I then walked to my bathroom putting on some light makeup and leaving my hair it its natural wavy style I walked out the door to my bedroom.

Some how I knew that this birthday wasn't just going to be another number; no. Something big was going to happen today; something big, that would change my life forever.

After saying goodbye to my parents I strode into school in my new white ferrari 458 Italia. (My birthday girt from my parents) a bunch of my friends came rushing up to me saying how cool my parents were for getting me this.

By the time school was over I had birthday presents from almost the entire student body that I really didn't need, and My car; was full. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these presents were to "accidentally" fall out of the car. By the time I got home it was almost four o'clock and Lisa (one of my friends) were coming over at seven.



"Ok I have three hours.....what to do...." I mumbled to myself.



Just then I received a text from some number that I didn't know.

"Hey baby you wanna hang out tonight since its your birthday?"

"Who is this????" I replied back.

"Ryan, so do ya?" Ohhhhhhh!!! Ryan was the guy that I have recently started dating. What happened to his phone?

"What happened to your phone? Who's phone are you texting from?" I asked him.

"I accidentally went swimming with it in the lake. And it's Josh's phone? So do you wanna hang out?"

"Oh ok that makes more since. And sure."

"Ok awesome ill meet you at your place in an half hr???"

"Sure." I responded back. Ryan my be a little obnoxious at times but he is hot! Don't get me wrong, he can be a nice guy when he wants to but most the time he is a little on the annoying side. He is still totally hot though.

I started to rush around my bedroom putting on some pre-ripped skinny jeans with as many holes as you can count going from the top of my thigh to my knee. then a white flowy top that the sleeve cuts off two inches before it hits the tip of the shoulder.and the bottom cutting off just at the hem of my pants. I went into my bathroom and applied a new fresh coat of makeup after whiping off the one from Eight hours ago. I put on a light coat of foundation then blush and then to top it off some black eye liner and I did a really good smokey eyes thing. i wasn't trying to go for slutty; but sexy, and personally I think I achieved that. I was finishing up on last touches just as I heard the door bell ring.

I rushed downstairs and pulled open the door.
