chapter 18

RECAP~

'Lives of people are being placed in my hands' kept running through my mind like a tape recorder stuck in replay. I have 2 choices. Go with my so called "mate" to his "home"

Or I could keep resisting until I finally fall asleep and be dragged to their world.....hmmmmm....

I choose the 2nd one.

Stubborn." A little voice in my head spoke out.

"What the heck was that!" I screamed.

"Hi I'm.....-"

"hi I'm your wolf; Roe."

"so what does that mean for me having a freakin wolf in my head!?!" I said back in my head.

"it means that your not only a witch but your also a werewolf....and I'm here to help you shift, stay out of danger and be your best friend."

"ok....ummmmm....cool? uhhh where were you my whole life!? and how did you get into my head!?!?!!" I practically yelled the last part at her.

"I was always here; but you were never ready. now not only have you found our MATE but you have developed your powers so that now your wolf...(me) can be the strongest she(me) can....and to answer that 2nd question...the moon goddess assigned me to you when you were born. "

"ok wellllll... ummmm hi...I guess...and welcome to my head? "

roe just laughed and she 'cut' the connection.

my vision was soon focused back on the room in front of me. wait; I'm moving. why the heck is the room moving towards me!?! just then I felt the tingles shoot through my body.

OH CRAP!

Damien. he has me. I let my guard down.

"WAY TO GO ROE!" I screamed in my head with thick sarcasm in each word.

"hey, it had to be done. plus I'm liking how close we are to our mate."

"I hate you."

"no you love me. oh and there is one thing you should know! Damon is not only a vampire; but he is also a wolf!" and with that I felt her cut the connection again. greeeeeeeeaaaatttt! I am now being carried off In some kidnapper-mates' arms off to the vampire/ wolf or what ever he is kingdom. could things just get any better?!! (note the sarcasm)

I started to squirm trying to get out of Damien's tight grip on me; which then only resulted in him throwing me over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN!!!!" I screamed pounding on his chest.

"no."

"PUT ME DOWN YOU BIG VAMPIRE WOLF!" he then stopped in his tracks.

"what did....how....you...-"

"roe told me." I said as if it were perfectly normal that there was a talking dog in my head.

"when did you..-"

"she appeared the second you decided to start carrying me. apparently she thinks your her 'mate' but personally I just think she's crazy." I said with a straight face like this was all normal. I waited for him to say something or start moving again but all I received was silence.

"roe?" I said

"roseeeeee" she responded.

"what is he doing? why did he stop? why isn't he talking to me?" I questioned her.

"he's talking to his wolf." she answered simply in a 'Duhhhh' tone. Damien started walking again to the car picking up his pace slightly as soon as I saw the big men from earlier i started squirming in his grasp. as we started approaching the circle drive up to my house I started to scream and pound on Damien's back yelling profanities at him to stop.

"PUT ME DOWN! PUT ME DOOOOOWWWWWNNNNN!!!" I screamed pounding on his back. he slid in the back seat of the sleek black limo while getting me off of his shoulder and gently into the seat next to him. I tried to make a run for the car door but Damien was blocking my path and grabbed me by the waist putting me back in my seat I started to climb up front where the driver was to try and get out through that way, only to be pulled back by my waist.

"UHHHHH!!!" I let out a frustrated groan being pulled back and onto a very warm lap. this is so not fair!!! what did I do! I don't get it! honestly; what did I do to deserve this? the car started up an we soon drove away leaving behind my home...the place I use to know.

Ok! So important news! I am currently- even though you guys r gonna hate me 4 this- putting my book on hold for a little bit due to up coming tests in a week...I promise they won't be on hold for too long! ;)
