"Oh.....um hi rose." Max said uncomfortably.

"ick. what then heck are you doing here max."

"wellllll.....-" he said dragging it out before I cut him off.

"you know what. forget it. just move."

"excuse me? " he said clearly dazed.

"MOVE!!!!" I screamed wile trying to avoid him. He didn't budge. "I said move!!!" I screamed once more lightly pushing him on his chest in hopes to him moving; because right now. Only one thing was on my mind. That I GOTTA get out of here.

But what I saw when I pushed max; was not what I expected. I saw a dark tan figure go flying over the iron gate across the yard and down the path leading away from my home, and trust me, that is longer than a foot ball field. There was a buzzing sensation running throughout my body almost as if 100 bolts of energy was now buzzing through my body. I could feel it in every single fiber of me.

I froze staring at my hands wondering what the heck was going on. I looked back at the door for a split second then I went bolting towards the woods in the opposite direction that max went flying. I started running through the woods at a pace that I thought was not humanly possible.

But I guess the impossible just got possible.

I slowed down and sat at the base of a tree near a stream. I could still feel the buzz flowing through out my body not once wavering. What the heck is going on with Me! I walked over to the stream sticking my hands in it so I could cool off; but what I saw was Far from cooling off. Instead of seeing the water seep through my hands I see the water twisted around coming out of the stream in one long line. Almost looking like a snake. Wholly crap.

I flicked my wrist and the water moved backwards. I drew a line with my finger above my head and the water did what my finger did. Circling the water above me I stood up and started to have some fun. I angled it at the ground and shaped it into a bubble with me sitting on top of it. I motioned a upward position with my hands and, soon enough, my feet are off the ground and I'm fifteen feet in the air. Ok now there is something seriously messed up.

I could feel the movement and heavy ness of the water as if it was draped over me in a cloak of water. this is something I don't think I will ever get use to.

With the clouds I started to write in a bulleted list in the sky all the impossible things that just became possible today.

•One, vampires.

•two, my ability to throw people.

•three, my amazing speed.

•four, my ability to control water.

I then blurred all the words in the sky with the flick of my wrist. I lowered myself onto the ground and started experimenting with other things like vines. I closed my eyes and pictured a bright white vibrant rose perfectly placed in my hands. When I opened my eyes I couldn't believe what I saw.

A perfectly white rose with no thorns but one.

I closed my eyes once more picturing a bunch of vibrant yellow, light blue, purple, and red flowers growing all over the forest floor. I then let my imagination run wild. Picturing all the trees forming in a wide circle around me, changing the oak trees to willow trees. And forming the stream into the shape of a heart.

Once I opened my eyes; that was exactly what I saw. I then wanted to try and see what else I could control so I focused hard and thought about a light summer breeze where the temperature is perfect and the wind is barely blowing. And what I felt. Was what I was trying to attempt. I then pictured(without closing my eyes) a stack of logs with rocks circled around the out side of the pile and that is what I saw appear. I then imagined a light fire starting to spread onto the logs. And just like before; that is what happened.

Now that my mind has started to wander I began to get curious and started experimenting with my new found abilities. I turned down the temperature a little bit and got closer to the fire. Imagining a soft wool blanket wrapped around me I snuggled into it when it soon appeared.

'This is just getting cooler and cooler!' I thought to myself no longer scared with what I could do.

'I wish my parents could see this!' I thought to myself....'oh wait...my parents' I thought sadly. 'their back at the house....with Damien. the vampire. and his vampire parents....'

my life couldn't be any more screwed up right now.

'I hope my parents are ok.' I thought to myself. maybe I should go back...I thought to myself.

'no they will kill us if we go back!' by now I was having a little mental war in my head.

'ya, but they couldn't stand a chance to these awesome powers we just gained.'

'true...' and by that I started to put back everything the way it was. I turned the trees back to normal. I turned the river back into its original shape. I replaced all the flowers on the ground with dirt and moss. Now i'm about to put out the fire with the water right above me;

but then I got tackled down to the ground. it didn't hut but it surely startled me and made me angry. turning around in whoever's grip I was in I pushed them back and flung them into a tree holding them in place with a strong gust of air. once I made out the face I almost felt regret for my actions.

ALMOST. is the key word there.

it was Damien. the vampire himself. as soon as I looked into his eyes I felt remorse for the pain I had caused him. in his eyes I saw bewilderment, pain, sadness, admiration, and then sadness again flash through his eyes. I lowered him down to the ground but kept up and wall between me and him.

"what do you want." I growled out barley able to keep my cool.

"rose, come on, please just let us explain, please rose; come back to dinner. we can explain it all, your new found powers and me being a vampire. please rose...just let me explain." he said his voice breaking at the end.

His pleading words were tearing at my heart. I wanted nothing more than to run to him and hug him and never let go. but I had to stand my ground. I started running in the direction of my house flashing by Damien in the process. he was soon to pick up but I was increasing speed loosing him in the trees.

and so I started heading back with my so called "vampire mate" to pick up dinner with my parents and his vampire ones.....

lord only knows how this will go...
