"Why are you coming in so late at night"

Maryse questioned

"Mom it's only 11:30pm"

Maryse looks down at her watch checking the time

"Yeah that's still very late, you missed dinner, I'm very disappointed in all my of you"

She says looking at them

"Sorry mom it's just ..."

"We went to my boyfriend's place he got a new house so we went there to have a little get together"

Izzy said stoping Alec

"Yeah so she invited us, there was no drinking involved cause you know if there was Alec would tell you"

Jace says adding to the story to make it more believable

Their mom stays quiet

"Okay fine ... But I'm not dumb y'know I know something's going on its just a matter time before it comes out"

Maryse says looking at Alec more than the others

Alec stands there awkwardly scratching the back of his head waiting for someone else to talk

"Okay well we should get to bed we have school, we have things to do, people to see"

Izzy saying making eye contact with Alec

Alec looks away thinking to himself
"Why is everyone looking at me? Making hints for no reason, first Magnus now this..."

Izzy just smiles, Jace gets confused again not knowing whats going on

"You guys should go to bed, see you guys in the morning"

"Sorry mom we all have to leave early in the morning"

The both boys look at her
They all start walking up stairs to their own rooms

"Since when?"

Alec says walking beside Izzy
Jace close behind

"Well we need to talk ... And see you know who..."

Alec goes silent then talks again

"Well ... I guess goodnight ..."

The other two nod and walk into their rooms

Leaving Alec alone walking to his room, he gets there he opens his door, closing it as he gets in

"Hi Alec "

Magnus says cheerfully waving at him

"Hey"

Alec says smiling

"Want me to walk you to your class?"

Magnus asks touching Alec's arm softly

Alec starts smiling lightly at the man that's beside him

"I would love that"

They both smile walking too Alec's class hand in hand

As they get there Magnus gets on his tippy toes and kisses Alec's cheek goodbye

They both say their goodbyes, Magnus leaving him as Alec walks in class
Someone grabs him from behind roughly slamming him against the lockers

"What are you doing with Magnus Bane!?"

Jace says angrily

"W-what do you mean?"
