After getting patched up and and laying down I grabbed my gun, flashlight, and an AK out of the bag and left the hotel. No one saw me leave so I was in the clear for a while. I walked around the outside of the hotel looking around. I touched the bandage on my head that covered a small cut. I sighed. It was already night time so I brought out the flashlight. As I looked around the beam of my flashlight caught something out in the distance. I started walking that way and noticed it was a grocery store. I walked up to the front doors and walked in.
"Seems abandoned." I said out loud. My voice echoing. Then there was a noise in the back of the store.
"Hey man did you hear that?" I heard someone say.
"I really need to stop talking to myself." I whispered. I took out my AK and got behind a wall.
"No man. I didn't hear anything. Now get over here." A different man yelled.
"For what?" The first man asked.
"The Boss wants to talk about that hotel." The other man said. Now I was interested. I snuck further into the store until I saw a bunch of men standing in the back.
"Ok gentleman. We all heard the gunshots yesterday and today. Someone got into that hotel. Someone with firepower. Our puny pistols and shotguns won't take on assault rifles, but we have something that will. Garret got something this morning that will help a lot." The boss said. He came into view and he was a big man. Mostly on the chubby side but very tall. I saw him unzip a bag and pick up a device.
"Is that a bomb?" Asked a man in the group.
"Oh its more then a bomb. C4 will blow that place to pieces. Yeah we could use that place but we don't need those people coming here. Now get ready because we'll set these up tonight." He said putting the bomb down.
"No your not." I whispered. I went to stand up and fire until someone grabbed my gun. Before I could yell they put their hand to my mouth.
"Shut up." Trinity whispered. I shoved her off.
"How did you find me." I whispered back. I noticed Jillian and Trevor walking up. Plus a bunch of other people.
"Shining your light outside was stupid. I grabbed about 25 people when I heard someone talk." She replied.
"They have bombs." I whispered.
"I know. I heard too." Trinity said. "Just follow my lead." She pointed at everyone to stay and walked out with her bow raised. I aimed my AK and walked with her.
"Nice bombs." I said. The whole group jumped and aimed their guns.
"Look we don't want any trouble." Trinity said.
"Then get out of here" said The Boss.
"Not until you hand the bombs over and then leave this place." Trinity replied.
"No chance. There is only two of you. Shoot em boys!" The Boss yelled and everyone pointed their guns.
"I wouldn't do that!" I yelled as everyone we brought ran up guns raised. The other group backed away.
"This is only one fourth of our group." Trinity said.
"Well then it's one fourth lost to your group!" He yelled. He picked up a bomb and took out a device. Must be to detonate it.
"Shoot him!" Trin yelled. Everyone shot at once and thirty seconds later they were dead. The device and bomb were still in The Boss's hands. Bullet holes covered his body. I grabbed the device and bag with bombs and handed them to Trinity. As we walked away I heard something. I turned around and saw a man crawling towards The Boss. Blood was staining the floor as he went. He grabbed the C4 out of his hands.
"Everyone get down now!" I yelled. I shot the C4 in his hands and a fiery explosion knocked me to the ground...
