Chapter 15: church

I was torn between 2 guys. for me this is a little messed up. i didn't know who i liked more. Carter or Ethan? Omg this is like twilight. Team Carter or Ethan?

For now I'm just going to stay friends with the both of them. But i seriously need to figure this out. What do i like about Carter?

Well first of all, he's a dork and so funny. He over all has a great heart, he's polite, and over all he likes me. What do i like about Ethan?

Ethan is very charming and smart. he is such a gentlemen and he also likes me.

I think I just need more time to get to know both of them. I guess.

I woke up for school and was extremely tired. I didn't bother to do my makeup and just threw on a tshirt and leggings. And my hair in a pony tail.

I walked into school not wanting to deal with anything today. I had a 2 hour phone call with Kylie last night talking about all of this. She said which ever one I don't choose she gets. I laughed at this. She isn't going to be at school today so it's just me myself and I.

I walked to my locker and surprisingly Carter or Ethan weren't waiting. I went to get my books and right when I turned around there was a smiling Carter standing behind me.

"Wow." He said gazing at me.

"What?" I said and stitched my eyebrows.

"You. Just wow. You look beautiful." He said looking down at me. This is why I like Carter he isn't afraid to give me compliments and always puts me in a better mood. He always has a way to make me blush.

"Oh. No. Haha I just got out of bed today and came to school." I said looking down trying to hide my blush.

"I think you look amazing." He said.

"Why thank you." I smiled.

"I'll walk you to class. Where you heading?" He asked.

"Um Carter, I'm headed to history.. Your in my history class..." I said trying not to laugh.

"Oh right. Emma grace stop distracting me." He said.

"How am I distracting you?" I laughed and punched his shoulder.

"Just look at yourself."

"Shut up lets get to class." I said walking in front of him. Of course him being his flirty self he had to trip me. "Can you not" I rolled my eyes.

"Cmon shorty." He teased. We walked to class and the whole class period I could feel his eyes on me. I looked over at him and we made eye contact. But then he looked down while smiling.

*CARTERS POV*

Oh. My. God. She is so perfect. She gives me the butterfly's and I'm a guy.  After class got out I caught up to her.

"Hey Emma grace." I shouted to her across the hall while running up to her.

"What's up?" She said.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to church with me tonight?" I asked nervously.

"Hold on let me check my schedule," she looked around the room for about 3 seconds "nope nothing so sure." She smiled.

"Okay cool I will pick you up around 7?" He said.

"Yeah see you then.. I have to go to math so text me." She started to walk away.

I could not of been happier.

*EMMAS POV*

I'm so excited to go to church tonight. I havnt been in about 6 months. Our church around here is different. The music is like a concert. They have free soda and pizza, and everyone knows everyone. I love it.

But where is Ethan? I havnt seen him all day. I decided to send him a text.

Ethan why arnt you at school?

Within seconds he answered me.

I have to pack. My family is going to Washington for a week.

Oh yeah you told me about that.

Yeah. I have to go so I will text u before I leave! :)

Okay.

I was kinda relieved. Just me and Carter for a week?
