Intrigue
Harry’s P.O.V.
“Harry, how many pictures of Emma do you have?” My sister teased, looking at my phone.
I took it away from her and put it in my pocket. My sister was laughing and I looked at her with a frown. Most of the photos were taken when Emma was not paying attention when her smiles were genuine and not forced like the ones that all put on when they see a camera. I had captured them when the light bumped against her skin while sleeping.
When she look at me, when she frowned her forehead in concentration. When she sat by the window, leaning her head against the glass, watching the world went by outside the window. Her brown hair falling over her shoulders gently. Her green eyes that sometimes looked blue.
“Stop bothering me, Gemma.”
“Stop obsessing, Harry.”
“She’s my girlfriend; I have the right to have photos of her.” I complained.
She snorted and walked into the kitchen. I began to see the pictures I had of Emma. I rested my head on the table. I closed my eyes tightly.
“Gemma.” I called her.
She left the kitchen and looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes.
“You’re a girl, right?” I teased her.
She rolled her eyes and returned to the kitchen.
“Don’t go! I need you to help me.” I whispered. Gemma left the kitchen and sat next to me.
“May I know with what?”
“I want to give Emma a surprise.”
“What kind of surprise?”
I smiled mischievously. There was too much in my head and needed help from my sister to plan all this. I knew that when I tell her she will probably faint, but I really wanted to do this.
Emma’s P.O.V.
Thaly stood beside me as we all walked around Berlin. Professor Young and Professor Richardson thought it would be good for us to know the "important" places of the city while we were still here. I walked, bored, with everyone else. I know this city and its surroundings as the palm of my hand. Today was our last day there and we would return to London in the evening. I couldn’t wait to see Harry.
Thaly also seemed to be bored and intimidated by guys who checked her out as we walked through the city. She was really beautiful; she was just too shy to admit it. She was wearing shorts and a sleeveless blouse and of course that attracted the eyes of the boys.
“They are watching you.” She whispered looking at her at the floor, putting a lock of her blond hair behind her ear.
“Me? Of course not! They are looking you.” I tell her.
She looked up and a guy that was passing in front of us on his skateboard winked at her. Thaly shyly smiled at him and we kept walking with the group. My phone rang in my pocket, I pulled it out and saw the photo that Harry has taken as he kissed my cheek and I covered my face with my hands. I rolled my eyes. Harry changed the picture of my phone at least once a week.
“Harry…”
“Don’t say anything. I know that you’re not in the lab.”
I frowned. I hadn’t said anything to Harry about the city tour we would have today, after the suggestion of Professor Young.
“How do you know?” I ask him.
“Because I know… In fact, I'm seeing you right now.”
“You know how creepy and psychopathic that sounds, right?” I said looking everywhere, searching him.
