Chapter 23 { Wedding }

Things didn't turn out how I thought they would. I really didn't expect things to go down like this.

At first it was a haze of awareness.

Then the mixture of warmth and frost around me.

A blur of colour.

When trying to rise a wave of nausea.

Then the headaches.

Curious has always been a flaw to myself. But I already knew where I was. (It'd be no surprise to find Christine passed out on the floor). So I didn't move. Somehow felt safe in this dump. So I went back to sleep, before the headaches would increase.

After getting up for the 4th time, I groggily went to go take a shower. Stretching in the shower as well. After leaving the warm water and going into the Antarctic. Rushing for the clothes Christine gave me. (My other clothes had tattered in the fall). The scarf in addition made the outfit awesome.

Exiting the bathroom, Christine commented "you look nice."

"Because I'm in your clothes, wearing your fashion sense."

"Very true madam." She playfully said.

"I'll see you later!" I yelled as walking through the front door.

"Close the god damn door!" Christine yelled when I left it open.

Riley's P.O.V

Sage and Archer were running around everywhere trying to set up last minute details for this wedding, as well as find Robin who has been missing since 2 days ago. Ari was talking to one of the brides and helping her. Sky was helping the other. Kyle was getting slightly concerned but he passed it off as normal behaviour from Robin. Feray was running around to burn off energy, (the kid gets too much sugar, no matter what Sky says, Feray is getting sugar somehow).

Well walking around the fuss of people, I saw a very confused looking woman.
"Don't tell me you forgot." I laughed.

"I was a tad distracted." She replied. "Riley have you seen Nova?" She asked.

"The idiot come to S.h.i.e.l.d's medbay bruised this morning." I replied.

"So where have you been? Why do you look like shit? Why are you asking me about Sam? How did you forget a damn wedding!!!??" I went to 0 to 100 like a it was as easy as pressing a button.

"Just text me the list of questions you have, I want to get this wedding out of the way first." She said well pinching her templates.

"Fine, seating starts in 15 minutes." I said all she did was grumble. Trying to drag her over to the wedding site she rebelled. Nearly bite me. "Fuck you!" I screamed when letting go off Robin's arm.
"When and where?" She said tiredly. I went silent, and got very confused "What?"

"I'm tried okay! I'll go okay!" She suddenly yelled.
