Chapter 3:Got ready

Riley's point of view

"Hey kiddo-"Maya said a she entered my home.I jumped out of joy when I saw her.My best friend. "Peaches!"I Bounced around and hugged her,"you ready for a day in-"
"Hell?"Maya asked and went to sit down,my mom prepared breakfast for her,"no"
"You hear that topanga!"my dad said nervously,"I-I didn't teach her that,did you?no,That friar!bad,bad examples for our kids!!"

"What makes you think Lukie pokie is behind this?"I asked,they all looked at me.I shrugged and smiled at the wonderful people around me,"lukie pokie?"Maya asks and laughs.I shrugged and smiled,"yes,it's my nickname for him!"I said,"what's so funny?"

"I don't know,sunshine-"Maya trailed off as she faced me,"I think we should stick with me calling him names,not you-"she laughed again,"I mean,lukie pokie,what the hell,really?".
"Maya"I sighed,"you know that I still have feelings for Lucas,I'm just trying new things out"
"I know sunshine-buttercup"Maya smiled,"let's just,let's just not talk about this,right now".
I smiled as the door opened again,"Ladies!"what can I say,Saved by the minkus.

"Farkle!"me and Maya exclaimed as he came and sat next to me.
"You ladies ready for-"
"No!"Maya said and sighed,shaking her head,"I don't wanna go to highschool,why do we have to go to highschool,why!"she asked in panic,Farkle chuckled.
"To concur the world,duh!"farkle laughed,I smiled and looked at my best friends,thinking of how we gotten here in the first place,and what would I do if I ever lost,any one them.
Maya is my guide to the world,farkle is my directions.I would be a lost puppy without them.
And Lucas?Lucas is my Prince Charming,sticking by my side where ever I go,and wherever I go,we'll go together.I mean,we're obviously meant to be.

"Riles!"Maya snapped at my direction,I looked in her way and smiled
"Yes,peaches?"I asked and she laughed."Time to go to hell,you been day dreaming!"
"Oh,right!"I said and picked up my backpack,I kissed mom and dad goodbye as well as hugged auggie."I'll play space-men with you Auggie when I get back home"I said and smiled at him.He nodded,I ruffled his brown,curly hair."okay"he said,"I'll be waiting".

We all walked out way to school,I mean,it wasn't that far if you think about it.
Maya sighed in frustration,exhausted,"I'm already sweating!"she gasped,"how long has it been?"she asked and looked at farkle.Farkle looked down at his watch,"5 minutes"
Maya groaned and I giggled,"come on Maya,we'll make it to school together!"I said happily.
"No-"she trailed off,out of breath,"why can't we take the subway,Lucas is probably waiting for us?"she asked,looking at north me and farkle with hope.Hope?but Maya doesn't believe in hope.She always told me,"Hope is for suckers"but I don't know where that came from.

"We told Lucas to wait for us in school"farkle smiled,"besides,don't you wanna talk?"
"About what?"Maya asked,"about how unfair your treating me right now!"she asked and crossed her arms."yes,farkle,you talk while I sharpen my nails,then-"farkle gulped and I laughed.
"Come on Maya!"I said,"don't you love walking with your friends to school,enjoying the sunshine,taking in a marvelous view of the flowe-Is that Starbucks?"I asked and smiled,smelling perfection.I tugged Maya and farkles sleeves,we all raced to Starbucks,we still have time anyway to get to school.We'll even buy something for Lucas on the way.
"Yes,I guess your right Riley"Maya said,next in line,ready to order a strawberry frappachino,"this is nice,and I'm loving it"

Maya's point of view

You know when you get that feeling that nothing could ruin your day,and then something ends up ruining your day anyway?This was one of those times.It just had to be in highschool.When me and farkle,and Riley,walked into the highschool,which should have been called hell in my opinion,I Covered Riley's eyes quickly.farkle looked at me like I was crazy.I made many head movements until farkle finally understood and looked in my direction,a horrific sight.
Farkle grabbed Riley's arm,"farkle,is that you?"Riley asked and smiled,"I know it's you,Maya's hands aren't that big!"she giggled,"farkle,I'm not stupid,it's you,now it's my turn"she said and forced my hands off her eyes,she looked around and finally looked in mine and farkles direction.She then quickly turned to me,"what's happening?"she asked."Whys Lucas with missy Bradford?"she asked.Her smile terrified me in this situation.
