CHAPTER 17

Sweet and Silent Spot

The party was probably going on for 2 hours now, I wasn't really enjoying myself. Every once in awhile I'd go to the snack table for a plate of salad, or chips. Most if the time a sat on a comfy little 2 person bench. I was just sitting there observing everyone. Just watching people dance, laugh, have fun, eat snacks. I wasn't used to big party's. well... I've never actually been to any type of party... Unless you count the stupid drug parties my parents have everyday. There probably not even looking for me. They never cared about me. I was literally there personal punching bag of blood. I'm happy I ran away. I just wish I've done it sooner then I did.

"Hey." Jumping up from the bench, being ripped out of my thoughts, I turned around only to see that Andy was behind me.
"You gave me a heart attack!" I placed my hand on my chest while breathing hard trying to relax.
"Sorry about that. You just looked lonely." He smiled at me, step over the bench and sat down inviting me to sit next to him.
"Are you enjoying the party so far Andy?" I asked while sitting down.
"Nah it's pretty boring. But now I'm with you, so that makes the party 78% better." We both giggled.
"I only came because Melissa wanted to come real badly. And well... I guess I wanted to come to... It's my first time going to a party." I put my head down slightly as we both sat silently.
"I'll make it fun for you." Andy whispered in my ears giving me sweet shivers. I loved his voice to much.

Feeling his hand grab mine my gaze met his.
"Do you want to dance?" He smiled at me softly.
"Yes." Once I said yes he looked at the DJ and nodded his head.
"Alright everyone. It's time to take everything slowly." The DJ said smiling in our direction. Suddenly a soft tune began playing. Andy brought me to the dance floor. Putting his hands on my hips I swing my arms over his shoulders.
"I wrought this song for you." He smiled. I could feel my face turning red.
"I called it The Morticians Daughter." Right at that he sang along with the music. Allowing the music fill me with happiness made me feel like he was the one I want to be with for the rest of my life.

As song ended he pulled me in for a hug.
"I love you." He whispered into my ear making me blush.
"I love you too." I whispered back resting my head on his chest. After a few seconds of silence between us we eventually went back to the bench smiling and laughing.
"I'd count this as our first date. Don't you think?" He smiled, putting his arms around me tight.
"Yeah. I guess." We both started to laugh as I placed my arms around his waist. I believe myself to be the happiest person ever. Melissa is my best friend, karissa no longer bullies me, and I have a boyfriend. There's no way this night could ever go bad! But I just have that feeling that something will. I really hope it doesn't involve a hospital. I hope my premonition is wrong...
