Chapter 5: Tears like storms

Nixon's POV

"SABIHIN MO SAKANYA ANG KAPAL NG MUKHA NYA PARA MAGTANONG KUNG OKAY LANG AKO!! PURKET MERON LANG SYANG BAGO TAS AKO DI MAKAMOVE ON!!! NASAKTAN AKO AT NASASAKTAN HANGGANG NGAYON!" I shouted at Cresley while my tears fall like a storm.

Cresley's POV

(First rule in being friends with Nixon, never EVER make him angry. You'll discover the beast inside of him.)

"Nixon, chill. Makinig ka mun-", I haven't finished my sentence when Nix said, "MAKINIG?! IKAW NA NGA YU-" And before he finished his sentence, I also cutted it and shouted, "EH BA'T SAKIN KA NAGAGALIT?!?!", After I said those words, there was an awkward silence. Then he said, "Cresley, sorry kung sayo ko nabuhos lahat nung galit ko." I replied, "Sabi ko sayo i-save mo na sa Battle of the Bands yung galit mo eh. 2 linggo nalang naman eh. Atleast doon, kaharap mo siya at yung bago niya. Papakita mo sakanya na mali yung ginawa niyang iiwan ka." He then answered, "Oo nga, sorry ulit. I funnily said, "Hindi tayo bati, nagtatampo ako!" He then said, "Uyy, sorry na? Bawi ako sayo? Umm... Fries?

(Perks being friends with Nixon, he'll try to make it up to you if he does something wrong to you)

"Sige na nga." Then we both laughed.

(Nixon's POV)

There's something weird in this school. That every day, your classmates change. The only person that I'm close to in Monday is Cresley, in Tuesday is Toby, in Wednesday is Mawi and Kyle, in Thursday is Kurt, and in Friday.... Amber...

Tuesday, 3:41 P.M.

"Ughh, bagal ng oras. Nangangati na ako magpractice", said Toby while we're discussing Science. I said, "Ingay mo, 19 minutes pa. Tsaka di naman tayo nagmamadali no?" He replied, "Parang di ka excited, may problema ka ba?" I sarcasticly answered, "Ay wala, wala akong problema. Hindi lang naman nakipagbreak sakin yung Girlfriend ko diba?" He then said, "Ay oo nga no hehe. Kaya mo yan Nix. Your band is always here for you." I replied, "Yah, sana kayanin. Thank you."

(Bell rings)

"YES HAHAHA MAKAKAPAGPRACTICE NA DIN! Sh*t na-eexcite na ako!" Toby said to me as he gets his bass at the back of the classroom. I then said, "Hay, kung naeexcite ka, ako naman kinakabahan"

As we got out of the classroom, we saw 3 guys running towards us. More likely, my band mates, also excited as Toby. Mawi said, "Tara na tara na!"

As we go our way to the studio where we would practice, I asked them, "Ano ba tutugtugin natin?" Kurt said, "Basta, surprise for you." After he said that, I began to imagine what would happen in the Battle of the Bands. I imagined that there would be a lot of people, watching as bands battle for greatness. So as we arrive to the studio, we all then set our instruments.

"Ano nga pala yung pi-play natin?", tanong ko sakanilang lahat.

(After 1 hour)

"Teka, bakit dedicated sakin?" As I striked the crash of the drums for the ending of the song. "Kasi nga, gusto ka naming tulungan na makapag-move on dyan sa mahal mo", Kyle replied. "Tsaka para mapakita natin kay Amber na sa araw na yun, magmomove on ka na. I then said, "Di naman kailangan eh, pero dahil gusto niyo, sige. Thank you nga rin pala sa mga tulong niyo." Then Mawi said, "Nix, wag ka na ngang mabakla ngayon, practice na muna tayo para ready na for Friday." "Sige sige, 1,2,3,4"
