Of course I went to eavesdrop! I stood by the window to see where they were. Star was standing next to Ryan and saying some stuff so quickly I couldn't read her lips. Ryan was just looking down and saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," over and over again. As I looked at them, I started to wonder what the real reason was that Ryan didn't tell Star the truth. I really meant what I told Star, but I don't think that was his only reason. Star is his sister. Even if he wanted to protect her, I have a feeling Ryan is the kind of person that values honesty more than his sister being mad for a week. Star can't stay mad for long. I know it, and I bet Ryan does too. I'm going to have to do some more investigating on Ryan before I can trust him. I have a feeling that he's hiding something, and I'm going to find out what that something is.
I was so caught up in my suspicious thoughts about Ryan, I barely noticed he was walking towards me.
"Hey, Amb, what you up to?" What did he just call me?!
"First of all, don't ever call me that again. And what I'm doing is none of your business." I started walking away. I can't believe Ryan and Star are brother and sister. They don't even look related.
"Yeah, I know. We don't look alike at all. I'm way more attractive."
