I pulled my hood up farther.
Last night didn't end well.
Even though want I said was true.
Whatever. I don't really care.
I stepped faster after hearing my brother's footsteps behind me.
He can't do anything to me in school.. Right?
I made the last right turn and finally arrived at Lady Irene High school. I pulled my hood up again as the bell rang and I was pushed through the hall.
Hopefully no on will notice.

"Ughhh.. Yeah?"
"No hoods in class," replied a rather annoyed-looking teacher.
"Oh... Really?"
"Yes Mr. Ro'meave!"
"Fine"
I raised a pale hand to my face and pulled off my hood. Most people gasped. I just sat there and looked stupid.
I think they noticed.I pictured how the big purple bruise on my left temple looked.

"Okay class, as you know, your yearly community service assignment will be very soon.."
Not this again.
Three years ago it was giving the homeless checkups (yes, like a doctor), the year after it was painting with toddlers with medical problems (bad idea to wear my favorite shirt), and last year it was giving the elderly a spa day. Yes, a spa day. Complete with manicures, pedicures, and massages. And every time a boy complained about painting nails, Mr. Ross would say, " They don't call it a MANicure for nothing!"
Look on the bright side, nothing could be worse then that!
"And we have decided what we are doing this year!" Mr. Ross continued.
Oh no"This year our project will be at the....."
