That school day passed by in a flash, and before I knew it, I was in bed, not being woken up by the bell (for once).
I wonder why that happened..
I slowly walked up stairs, a bit confused.
As I reached the top, I picked up a plastic cup someone left on the ground and threw it away. I looked around our large living room, and not seeing anybody, walked into our beautiful Kitchen. I spotted a paper lying on the counter. In the messy handwriting of my father, it read
Gorroth-
Zane and his friends have gone out for the day, and I have work. Get your chores done without us. Don't forget about this carnival thing Zane tells me about,
                                -father
Startled by the reminder, I quickly checked my watch.
7:32
7:32!!!!! I have to get there by 8:00!!!
Panicking, I ran down stairs and put on my favorite shirt
It's not the best place at all... But if I want good grades, I have to look good.
I waved a brush though my hair, and ran back upstairs. Taking a bite of a granola bar that was supposed  to be my brother's, I ran out the door, slamming it behind me.
As I walked along the road, I groaned.. "Stupid carnivals"
But as I strolled across the sidewalk, I spotted a tiny robin's egg on the ground near a tree. I could see that the tree had a small, cute nest in it.
I can't just leave the little thing to die!
I sprinted over to the baby blue egg, picked it up very carefully, and placed it in the nest, which was so high that I could barely reach it.
It should be safe now
Looking at my watch, I decided that there was enough time to watch it for maybe just a few minutes.
And so, I sat down beside the tree, watching a small baby bird come out of the egg
Awwwwww... It's adorable
I guess I really do have some emotions after all..
But don't think I'm going soft!

Hi there! Well.... :-) I really don't have anything to say about this chapter soooooo...  8D just wait for the garmau to happen!
