We did basically nothing on our first day of work.
They gave us a tour of the horrific carnival. It was just as disgusting as my first impression of it was.
It's so...... Happy
After that, we all met in the rainbow circus tent and the owner of the carnival talked about what he expects from us.
"I expect that you will make our loving customers even more happy then they already are when they get here!! Deal? Be happy, and make this place wonderful!" He had said in a voice so high that it gave me a headache.
That's NOT happening. Sorry Mr. Boss guy. NOT happening.
They let us go early to get some "sleep for work tomorrow."
And so I started the long walk home.10 minutes later...
After about 10 minutes of strolling on the sidewalk, our huge house was in my sight.
The chores can't be that bad... Right?
I walked inside, wiping my shoes on the outdoor welcome mat. As I stepped into my home, I grabbed the list that I had read in the morning.
Gorroth-
Zane and his friends have gone out for the day, and I have work. Get your chores done without us. Don't forget about this carnival thing Zane tells me about,
-father
Same as last time. But now I noticed something that I hadn't before. There was a second piece of paper messily stapled to the note. I flipped it, and read the words on it.
Garroth's Chores:
Sweep
Do the dishes
Clean Zane's room.
Feed the fish
Mow the lawn
Weed the garden
Polish your father's shoes
Clean your father's room
Do the laundry
Organize & repaint Father's shed
Make father a Father's Day Card
You are doing these extra chores because it's Father's Day. No exceptions.
-FatherFather's Day?!?!?!
I can't believe that I forgot. Every Father's Day I get twice as many chores as normal.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I took out the broom and started sweeping.
I hate Father's Day!!!This was my Father's Day special for carnival kisses!!! Thanks to all the fathers out there!! (But not Garroth's) This was the promised short chapter!! I hope you enjoyed!!!
Byyyyyyyyeeeeeeeee,
