Katy definitely looked liked something was bothering her. Was it something I said? What did I say...? Oh, wait. I had mentioned me sleeping with Selena when I was talking to my mom. That's probably what this is about. It was only like five times in the whole relationship. Katy doesn't have anything to worry about, Selena and I never "went the whole way." Sometimes we almost did, but we didn't. I wonder why it's bothering her though.
"Why is that bothering you?" I asked Katy. She searched my eyes and she knew that I knew I was talking about the Selena and me thing. She seemed surprised that I knew what it was.
"How did you know..." she replied, with a puzzled tone.
"I didn't say anything else that would bother you. The only other thing I could see bothering you would be me hating on Maxwell House," I said with a chuckle. She laughed a bit.
It was silent for a few seconds, but then I broke the silence. "Katy, you don't have to worry about anything. Selena and I never had sex, and that's a fact. I only slept with her like five times during our whole relationship, and we were together for a while. So if you calculate it, it's not that much," I said reassuringly.
Katy looked a bit happier. "I feel better now because I believe you," she responded, with a smile. Her oh so irresistible smile.
She yawned. "Justin, I'm getting really tired, seeing as it's probably 2:30 or 3 in the morning," she said, a bit groggily-like.
"Go ahead and get ready, I'll be out here waiting," I said, smiling.
She nodded her head and got up. She walked over to her bag, bent down, and started digging through it. About a minute later, she straightened up and she had clothes in her hand with a toothbrush, toothpaste, a hairbrush, and make up remover. Katy wore some make up, but not a lot, which makes me happy because I don't like girls whose faces are caked with make up. She simply wears some eyeliner, by the looks of it. She walked into the bathroom and I heard the door shut. I decided to get changed into pajamas as well. Then, I realized that I don't have pajama shorts on hand. I bet my mom brought things in from the bus. I quietly knocked on the connector door and a few seconds later Kenny answered it.
"Hey Kenny, where's my mom?" I asked him.
"She's in the bathroom. Why?" he replied with a sleepy voice.
"I need some pajama shorts," I informed him.
He motioned for me to come inside. "Come in here and find them, I don't know where they'd be," he slowly said. He must have been sleeping. Oops.
I walked into the room and started digging through any bag I saw lying around. I finally found a pair after searching for about two minutes. I picked them up and started to walk out of the room.
"Hey JB," Kenny began to say. I turned around to face him.
"What?" I asked.
"Keep those shorts on tonight," he sternly replied.
I rolled my eyes. "Sheesh, what is up with you people?! I'm not one of those guys that thinks about sex all the time whenever they're with a girl, but everyone around here makes it sound like I am!" I snapped. "Even if I wanted to have sex with Katy, I wouldn't do it tonight. I just met the damn girl less than ten hours ago!" I added.
Kenny's eyes widened. "Is that what you think of her? A 'damn girl'?" he asked.
I sighed. "That's not what I meant. I'm sorry. I'm tired and out of it," I said using a bit of a compassionate tone.
