Chapter 15

- Katy -

I must've dosed off because I suddenly felt Justin gently shaking me while whispering, "Katy? Katy, you awake?"

I slowly opened my eyes and I saw his face right beside me, his eyes looking into mine.  "Why so close?" I teased, and I couldn't hide my smile.

"Well, I wanted to do this," he replied and he quickly kissed me.

I smiled harder.  "Why did you wake me up? I was comfortable in your arms," I complained as I played with his hair.

"Ben came back in the room. He's in the bathroom now. He said Scooter approved of him," he mildly-happily said.

I got happy at that.  "Yay!" I exclaimed.

"Hey babe," he began to say, "nothing's going on between you and Ben, right? I just want to make sure. He seems like a good guy, but if he tries to make a move on you, call me, and I'm going to come there and-,"

I cut him off.  "Justin, it's alright. Nothing is going on between us. All those feelings we had for each other are long gone. I'm pretty sure he understands. He knows better than to advance on a taken girl," I reassured him.

"Good, because you're mine, I'm yours, and it's no different," he happily said and pulled me closer to him.

"Yep," I simply replied as I cuddled into his chest again, enjoying his warmth and embrace.

"Am I interrupting something?" Ben suddenly asked, loudly.

I jumped up, almost whacking Justin in the mouth in the process.  I was all calm, cuddling with my boyfriend, then Ben goes shouting something.  "God Ben, you scared me!" I shouted with a touch of anger in my voice.  Justin sat up and rubbed my back.

"Jeez, sorry," he said using a sad tone.

I couldn't help but laugh.  It's impossible to stay mad at Ben.  "Ben, I'm sorry. You just know I don't like when people scare me," I told him.

"You used to yell at me all the time when I used to scare you," he said and ended with a laugh.

"I hate you," I teased.

"I hate you too," he teased right back.  I stuck my tongue out.

"Hey, you like to do pranks?" Ben asked Justin.

Justin perked up.  "Like 'em? I friggin' love 'em!" he exclaimed.

Ben looked surprised and happy at the same time.  "No way, I love them too! We gotta prank Katy here sometime," he said with a wink.

I rolled my eyes.  "Ben, you used to prank me all the freaking time," I said, looking at him.  "Literally," I began to say, looking at Justin now, "this guy would prank me like ten times a week."

Ben had a prideful expression on his face.  "Yep, and you fell for them every time," he proudly stated.

"Oh shut up," I said, grabbing the nearest thing beside me then chucking it at Ben.

He stumbled just a little.  "Why the hell did you chuck your phone at me?!" he shouted, rubbing his chest where it hit.  I looked at Justin and he was laughing his head off.  I started laughing too.

"Love ya, Ben," I said in a high, really girly voice.

He laughed.  "Love you too, Marshmallow," he replied and threw my phone back at me.

"Bennnn you know I hate being called Marshmallow!!" I screamed as I threw my phone at him once again.

Justin exchanged glances with me.  "Ben, explain the story," I ordered.
