Chapter 9 - Exhaustion

Peyton's POV

Walking to the car from the hospital ward was awful, although my fluids were back up and I was getting back to my normal self I still felt extremely weak. So bearing that in mind, I grabbed on to Kyle's shoulder as he discharged me from the hospital ward and led me to the car.

" The doctor has given me strict instructions to make sure you rest up when I get you home " Kyle muttered trying not to show how worried he was about me.

I always knew when he was worried about me he went all quiet and I could see it in his eyes, that's when a thought came to me.

Babe what date is it today? I asked in an excited tone

" it's the 3rd of September honey, why what's wrong? " he asked with a shocked tone wondering why I was so happy all of a sudden.

Oh I still haven't told you, well mum and dad won a competition which meant that they ended up getting three concert tickets and access all area passes for a One Direction concert which means tomorrow is the day I go and i get to spend the weekend with them. But I'm really worried about meeting them, I will tell you all why later.

" ok " Kyle replied with a hint of confusion as to what was going on.

Kyle's POV

For some reason my girlfriend was more worried about seeing and meeting One Direction than she was excited, this just wasn't like her so I had to find out why.

I pulled up in her drive way and helped Peyton out of the car and into the house while Kerrie and Charlie grabbed her things from the boot of the car, I could see it in her eyes that she was happy to be home.

We all sat down on the sofa in the front room, just as we started to watch grown ups I decided to ask her the question that had been bugging me all afternoon, I had to find out what had been playing on her mind for so long.

Babe can I ask you a question? What's so bad that you can't tell us about what's going on... I mean why are you so worried about meeting the five boys?

A tear fell from her eyes as she began to explain what her mother had told her, I pulled her into my lap, stroked her cheek with my thumb, then gently wiped away her tears.

" Well when I went for breakfast with mum, I asked her wether or not I had any older brothers or sisters and she said yes. That's when I decided to ask her what his or her name was because I had obviously never met them, when mum told me I was in shock... My big brother is Harry Styles. I couldn't believe it especially when mum told me she had my last name changed so I wouldn't find out until I was old enough for her to tell me "

After Peyton had finished explaining she was crying her eyes out, while the rest of us were all just sat there because of the shock, no wonder she was worried, I felt so bad for seeing her and not realising that something was wrong non of us knew what to say...

Charlie's POV

I got up and began to comfort Peyton she seemed so worried about going to this concert I had to say something.

Honey it's going to be all right, before the concert pull Harry to one side and explain to him what your mum has told you but make sure you take all the letters, pictures and birthday cards so he knows it's the truth.

After I had spoken to her she answered with:

" ok but I'm scared to tell him I don't know how he will react! "

The poor girl sounded so nervous I was so glad that me and Kerrie were going to be with her for support. There was so much to explain and they had so much to catch up on, thats when I realised their lives were so different, but I kept all my thoughts to myself I didn't want to make things worse.

That night me and Kerrie stayed at Peyton's ready for the next day, we were going to spend the weekend with One Direction, we were all so happy :).
