Chapter 29 - Zayn get me out of here

Zayns POV

" These hospital wards smell funny and they are so hard to find I really wish they would just keep them the same instead of being so complicated. Hey Zayn... Hey... Answer me Zayn... Please "

Louis please quit with all the questions it smells funny because its been sterilised because these people are sick and they don't want them to catch anything else

" Zayn how far to Harry's room my legs are tired and I'm really bored. Zayn I really miss Eleanor when can I see her? Zayn why does Harry have to be so ill why can't they use magic to make him better?"

Louis stop being such a child and quit complaining Eleanor only left yesterday and you will probably see Eleanor later tonight if you behave I will think about flying her over, now do me a favour be a good boy and go get Peyton from the cafe just down the hall to your left she's sat with Liam and Niall, I only want Peyton though so make up some other excuse ok? And don't ask any more questions alright? " ok Zayn "

Louis skipped off down the hospitals grey hall ways with a smile on his face at the thought of seeing Eleanor, he was such a child when he missed her but at least it stopped him from crying, I approached Harry's room then quietly nudged the door open. Just as I say down Louis came bounding into the room a curious look plastered all over his face...

" Zayn... Peyton isn't with Niall and Liam anymore they told me that apparently she got on a flight home earlier this morning with Kerrie, she left a note and Liam found it on his bedside cabinet when he woke up this morning. He come to tell us about the letter but we had already left I think she went to see Kyle because seeing Harry like this really upset her and she had to catch up on her college work a Btec in medical science doesn't do or write it's self in fact wait I have the letter "

Louis reading the letter aloud -

" To Liam, Harry, Zayn, Louis and Niall...

Liam, I purposly placed this letter on your bedside table mainly because I could place my trust in you and knew that you would understand why I wrote this letter. Any way getting to the point I am writing this letter to tell you that me and Kerrie are leaving this morning at 5 am our flight home from Edinburgh airport is at 8 am but by the time you get this it will have been in flight roughly two hours and will be getting ready to land. Anyway the main point is that I can not deal with the sight of my brother while he is so fragile, it scares me that I am going to loose him. I know its probably to wrong time to leave because he needs me but its too much for me to bare. Please tell him how much I love him with all my heart but I have to go home.

On top of all the pain of seeing my big brother in such a fragile state I have all the work from my medical science Btec to finish as coursework won't write it's self, I promise I will be back as soon as I can be, give all my love to everyone Peyton xx "

Louis handed me the letter once he had finished reading it aloud, I could tell that it hurt her to write the letter and that she really didn't want to leave as it was covered in watery mascara stains and smudged ink.

Harry was asleep snoring lightly as per usual in his hospital bed, the doctors had said he could go home within the next forty eight hours, we had been in Edinburgh for three weeks now it was my turn on the night shift staying with Harry. Most of the time it was Peyton that stayed with him but things had gotten two much so she went back home with Kerrie she really couldn't stand the sight of her brother battered and broken with bruises covering every inch of his tender skin, the worst patches were his chest you couldn't even make out his tattoos because of the bruising and swelling, every single one of his ribs were broken.

Looking back at the accident we are all so thankful that Harry got out alive and eventually pulled through, whilst Harry was in intensive care we all had a private meeting while Peyton continued to nurse her brother with Kerrie in the other room. We eventually took a step back from our careers and carefully decided that if Harry is unable to re join One Direction once he has fully recovered the band will no longer continue as we can't perform without him, only he doesn't know that yet because we haven't told him, I know for a fact that Harry is definitely going to fight us on this one, he would hate to see us all lose a job...
