Hester walked up to the school without looking up. She could feel the questioning stares against her back. Pulling her black cardian closer to herself she walked into the office by the doors. The desk lady glanced at her and continued rifling through papers.
"Hester Mizaki?" She nodded.
"Ms.Gonzales has your schedule. She's the counseler. Down the hall make a right. Trust me you can't miss it." She grumbled. Following her instructions she walked down the hall and made a right. She stopped at the door terrified. It was covered in sunshine and rainbows. Literally. The office was strategically positioned by the glass wall to get the most sunlight. As for the rainbows... most of them were stickers. She took a deep breath and reached for the doorknob, "Hiya!" came a voice. Standing in the doorway a short blonde woman with brown eyes stared at Hester intensely.
"You must be Hester!" She chirped happily.
"How is this woman so happy?" she thought.
"Come in please. I don't bite." Somehow she doubted that. Hester placed one shaky foot forward one after another. Ms.Gonzales went to her file cabinet and pulled out a folder."Hester we want you to be as happy as possible here ok? So tell me whatever you need." Hester stiffened, the folder was her school record. "Explains why she's been so nice to me." she thought bitterly. Hester showed no more fear in her eyes, in fact nothing. If you looked at her now you could say she was soulless.
"Thanks I think I can work my way around the school." She just left the room. Walking towards her locker she pulled the combo out and organized immediately.
