Josh arrived a few minutes earlier than Tyler, and decided to 'steal' a flower to give the boy. He may not have know, but his mother watched in the corner as he slipped a perfect red rose from a small bouquet, with a smile tugging at her lips.
Soon enough, the bell chimed and the door creaked open. Josh quickly hid the flower behind his back, preparing to be blinded by the beauty of no other than, Tyler Joseph. (I almost typed Joseph Dun wtf?)
Tyler slowly walked in, admiring the aesthetic layout of the store, quickly pulling out his phone to snap a picture, that he may or may not be posting on Instagram later.
"H-hey." Josh spoke softly, hands shaking from how nervous he had grown. Sure, he had Skyped and texted Tyler but now, the other boy was able to see his worst angles and flaws up close, in person.
"Hi, this place is very beautiful- just astonishing." Tyler smiled.
"Yeah, like you." Josh replied, gaining confidence as he pulled the flower from behind his back and handed it to Tyler. Both boys glowing a tint of pink blush.
"You must be Tyler, pleasure to meet you. Josh never stops talking about you, I could probably write a biography on you by all the knowledge he has given me on you!" The woman spoke, Josh glaring at her and Tyler blushing deeper. Adorable. Josh thought.
"Nice to meet you too, uh-"
"Just call me Mama Dun." She smiled, "Anyway, Josh let's go do some work so we can go home faster. And Tyler, if you want I can lead you to my office, there's a television, a couch, and some snacks and drinks in the fridge. That is unless you wsnt to join us, I don't kind. Up to you, darling."
Tyler decided to join them, seeing as 1)he didn't want to feel awkward invading someone else's personal space, and 2) he would get to see Josh use those glorious muscles of his.
Mama Dun led the group to the back door, where a pickup truck was laying, loaded with soil, mulch, pots, and everything needed to grow plants.
While Josh's mother picked up light weight stuff, likes pots and planters, Josh and Tyler carried things like soil and mulch.
Before long, the group was closing up the store, laughing as Josh layed out a few plastic bins and pots to make a small drum kit. Surprisingly, it didn't sound too bad.
"Well boys, I need to go home and ger my beauty sleep. Have fun and be safe." Mrs.Dun waved.
"Yeah, I should probably get going soon too. Its getting kinda late, yeah?" Tyler said.
"Yeah, true. Hey, text me ok? I really enjoyed spendimg time with you today." Josh spoke. God I'm so whipped. He groaned in his head.
"Whipped like whipped cream." Tyler giggled "And yeah, I'll text you, but I really should go now, its starting to get dark and I'm afraid of being outside in the dark." Tyler mumbled.
"You know what? I could walk you home if you want?"
"Really? I'd love that. Thanks Joshy." Tyler spoke.
"You should call me Joshy more often, I kinda like it."
"Ok, Joshy. Let's hit the road."
Somewhere along the journey home, Josh linked his hand with the other boy's. They walked slowly, and took a somewhat longer route just to spend more time together.
"Tyler?"
"Yeah? What's wrong, you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I just wanted to tell you that I think you're really cute and I like you, a lot."
"Well if I'm really cute, you're really hot. And I like you a lot too."
"Its kinda soon but like do you wanna be my boyfriend thingy?"
"Yeah I wanna be your boyfriend thingy." Tyler replied, leaning into Josh a little bit.
The remainder of the walk consisted of small talk and laughter. Far too soon, the couple arrived at Tyler's doorstep and stood for a minute, staring into each other's eyes.
"Well I guess I'll see you later." Josh spoke, a small frown lingering on his face.
"Yeah, thanks for spending time with me Joshy, not a lot of people want to do that. And also, thanks for walking me home, you really didn't have to." Tyler hugged Josh.
"Anything for you, baby boy." Josh whispered softly. He pulled back from the hug and admired the boy infront of him. With no resistance, he pressed his lips to the other's cheek, dragging a small blush to both's faces.
"I should go, its pretty dark."
"Yeah, me too. Text me okay? Bye Joshy." Tyler waved, earning a soft 'goodbye' from the other.
Both boys went to sleep happy that night, knowing that the other was finally theirs.
