"One hundred and twenty four days we have been on this island..." Beth exclaimed as she stuck a stick in the ground near the line of the jungle. "I have a stick for each day." She explained before moving to her feet then by Margaret who was tearing off the bottom of her dress as she was sweating from the heat.

"I take great joy in knowing I will not be whispered about if I wish to show my ankles...or my calves...even my knees-"

"How scandalous!" Beth teased as they both chuckled. "Can I ask you something?" Margaret nodded as she tied the end of her dress to hold up the loose end. "Where do you go during the day? I know it is not for food as you never come back with any-at least...no more than a single banana or orange..."

"To be honest...I walk to think. I spent so many nights terrified I would not wake up. You know his cruelty Beth, how my husband often enjoyed using me to take out his anger on. Being here and being able to walk where I want, when I want...I would rather have that then be on a main land."

"You do not wish to leave then?"

Agrios popped into her head as she shook her head. "I have found that I am an ally with the land. As if it is my special place."

"Do you never wish to go home? Your father...I'm sure he is worried sick of you..."

"One day...I will walk the cobble streets again as I do miss the little things such as the music and the sound of the chimes from church...But I do not wish to yet..."

"I see..." Beth began to draw in the sand as Margaret continued.

"But if the opportunity arose...I would not reject it..."

Beth smiled before Margaret rose from the sand and brushed off her dress. "Can I join you?" Beth asked, knowing she was going on her daily walk.

"No. I mean...I am going to bathe...I will walk after..."

"It is a good timing on your ankle then...it healed rather quickly."

"I am fortunate indeed." Beth entered the jungle and pushed her way through the low vines and heavy branches before finding Agrios moving about, dancing. she saw how he had the projector showing a couple dancing as the man kissed her hand and he switched the slide to where he had her in an embrace, holding her as they both showed bright smiles.

Margaret cleared her throat before Agrios turned around, his eyes locking onto her. A blush came over his cheeks before he moved to her, offering her a warm smile.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, proud he could speak in similarity and understanding to her.

"Better. I apologize for leaving so abruptly yesterday. I felt dizzy and I think the culprit would be the heat."

He moved closer to her and pulled up her dress before she pushed his hands off.

"You do not pull a lady's dress up!" She snapped as he shied like a timid puppy, moving to the edge of the bed.

"I am sorry Margaret...I was trying to make it so you did not become dizzy today. I did not mean to make you angry."

"I am not angry...It is just not proper."

"I wish I knew..."

"Knew what?"

"How to act. I know I am not an animal...but I do not remember customs from before the island." She was impressed with how his words became more impressive. "I wish I could make you understand what my chest says..."

"Your heart?" He nodded. He saw her deep gaze before moving to the middle of the empty lot before pulling her into him. She crashed against his chest before he apologized. He attempted to hum before stepping on her feet. He felt incredibly defeated and attempted to stop the sweet moment before she paused. She pulled him back towards her as she placed her hands on his shoulders and stood onto his toes as she rested her head on his shoulder.
