Chapter 58: I promise

Haileys POV:

Today's my birthday and I've been dreading it. I'm mean I'll be 20 and stuff but I don't want to do anything. I haven't since Andy and I broke up a few dad ago. I haven't eaten much, haven't talked to anyone, I've hardly left my room, and I keep throwing up. I need to loose some weight

My phone went off and I answered it. I thought it was Lauren because that's what the ID read but it was CC

"Happy birthday Hailey!" I smirked at his happiness

"Thanks CC. What's up?" I said rather blandly

"I was thinking I could take you out to lunch today." I sighed and ran a hand through my hair

"Sure I guess. See ya soon then." I hung up and got in the shower. Once that was done I put on my usual makeup and a plain black sundress type thing with black flats. I left my hair down to dry wavy and went downstairs. CC pulled up outside and I got in his car

We drove into town and he pulled up outside The Cheesecake Factory. I've been there once and the food portions are huge. Great... CC told me to get a table while he parked and I went in. The place was huge and beautiful. Like always. I walked up to the desk and told the dark haired man my name

"Ah yes, Hailey Fitgerald. Right this way." I followed him to the back of the restaurant and he opened a door to a back room. Inside sat a 2 person table, a candle in the middle of the table and the lights dimmed. I entered the room and the man closed the door leaving me alone in the room

I walked over to the table and there was a small black box with a note under it. I picked up the note and opened it. It read 'I promise.' Promise what? I opened the small box and there laid a silver ring with diamonds all around the band. Suddenly someone wrapped their arms around my waist and pulled me towards them

"I promise Hailey." Andys deep voice spoke softly against my neck. Tears brimmed my eyes. It was a promise ring. He slowly slid the ring on my ring finger and pulled out his own plain silver ring putting it on. I turned around and hugged him tight

"I'm so sorry Andy." He held me tightly to him

"I'm sorry to baby girl. Does this mean we're back together?" I smiled and wiped tears from my face

"Yes. Yes it does." He pulled away from the hug and pressed his lips to mine passionately. I kissed back and felt him smile. Our waiter walked in and smiled at us

After we sat down and ordered our drinks I grabbed Andys hand. He looked up from his menu. I smiled

"I promise too." He smiled and leaned across the table giving me a quick kiss. The waiter came back and Andy ordered his food. Shit. I closed my menu and handed it to the waiter

"I'm not hungry, thank you." My stomach then decided to make the loudest fucking dying whale noise ever. Andy raised a brow at me

"She'll have a gorgonzola salad. French dressing on the side. Thanks." The waiter left and I avoided eye contact with Andy

"When was the last time you ate Hailey? You look thinner and almost sick like." I sighed

"The day we broke up. And I've been throwing up lately. Not feeling well I guess." Andy sighed and gripped my hand

"You're perfect just the way you are. Don't change for anyone." I nodded and soon the waiter came in with our food. I slowly ate mine bits by bits. Once that was done we paid and left

"Thanks for the birthday surprise Andy." We got in his car and he chuckled turning it on

"Your surprise hasn't even started yet girly." I raised a brow at him and we left the parking lot
