Haileys POV:

"Come on babe, the haunted trail is outside of town and looks fun. There's even a corn maze!" I sighed as Andy poked my side in our bed. He's been wanting to go to this haunted trail thing for the past week and I don't want to

"What's in it for me?" I smiled and he climbed on top of me

"I have a surprise for you. I'll be in the middle of the corn maze and you have to come find me for the surprise." I thought it over in my head

"Will I like the surprise?" He smiled

"I'm hoping you will." I smiled and nodded

"Fine I suppose I'll go." He smiled brighter and got off me to get ready. I did the same. Fixed my makeup, put on a new shirt, left my hair down and put on my boots. The others had already left for the trail. Andy rushed me out of the complex and into his car

We got to the haunted trail and wondered it for a bit. Just a bunch of cheesy masks and costumes, fake blood and rats everywhere. Typical haunted trail. Then we approached the corn maze. Andy turned to me

"Alright, give me 10 minutes to get to the middle. Then you can go in, okay?" I nodded and he gave me a kiss before walking off. I sat on a hay pile for a few minutes and watched the sky slowly change color. The air got colder, obviously since it was early October and I got cold

Soon enough I got up and started walking through the maze. It got darker quicker and much colder. I started to shiver and started to regret not wearing a sweatshirt. I wondered up and down the rows in the maze and started to get really confused on where I was. Then I came across a group of guys

They looked a bit drunk and were smoking in their fake masks. I avoided eye contact with them and walked past them. Being the immature assholes they were, they did a cat whistle at me and called me names. I rolled my eyes and continued walking. Someone grabbed my arm

"Where you goin' sweet cheeks?" I tried pulling my arm away but he had a tight grip. His friends approached us

"I'm going to see my boyfriend." I pulled my arm away and his friend pulled out a knife

"I don't think so.." I was consumed with fear and sprinted into the corn stalks. I don't know where I was going but I just kept running. The corn stalks cut and scraped my arms, neck and face and they caught my hair pulling it. It stung but I kept running as fast as I could. After about 5 minutes of running, I heard a guy shout something about loosing her

I slowed down and looked around. It was completely black out and I was freezing. Where am I and how long have I been in here? I checked my phone and noticed there was 1% battery left and that it was 10:47pm. I just kept walking and jumped at every sound I heard

I got dizzy and felt weak. I also felt blood trickle down my arm and face. Great... just great. It didn't help that the corn stalks were wet and I was soaked either. I know my skin was blue from being cold and I looked terrible. Why did I agree to this?

I stumbled out of the stalks and into a clearing. There was a single rose on the ground and a note. I stumbled up to the spot, my vision blurring and fell to my knees in front of the rose. I picked up the note

Hailey, I love you more than I can ever scream. -Andy

I smiled and touched the rose. "I made it Andy... I finally made it.." I then passed out on the cold hard ground.
