Chapter 88: Arrival

~4 months later~

Haileys POV:

I sat up in my bed groaning loudly waking Andy up from his sleep. It felt like my insides were on fire. I groaned again and held onto my huge baby belly. I felt something wet between my legs and on the bed. I tore the sheets back. My water had broke. Andy was looking at me half asleep and curious

"Andy it's time!" I quickly stood up. He just stared at me confused. I put on very little makeup, tossed my hair up in a ponytail and put on a different pair of pants. I looked at him

"THE BABY IS COMING! GET OFF YOUR ASS AND LETS GO!" I yelled. He jolted awake and jumped out of bed. He quickly changed pants, put on a shirt and grabbed my bag I had packed for when the baby came. We slipped on shoes and ran out the door

Andy sped us to the hospital as I called all the girls telling them it was time. We got to the hospital and rushed to the front desk. The woman knew instantly what was going on before we even got to her and motioned for some nurses to assist me. I got sat in a wheelchair and wheeled to the delivery room. My contractions never stopping and getting more painful each time. I changed into one of those weird hospital gowns and laid on the semi comfy bed. Andy sat next to me on a chair and filled out a form for me

A doctor pulled Andy out of the room for a few minutes. He returned wearing covers over his shoes, weird green pants with a matching shirt, a doctor mask and a hair net. I would have laughed at him but instead I groaned in pain. The others showed up but a doctor made them stay in the waiting room. The doctor came back in with a few nurses and I knew it was time. The doctor sat at the end of my bed and between my legs. Andy grabbed my hand as a nurse patted my forehead with a cold damp washcloth

"Okay ms. Fitzgerald, give me a big push. 1...2...3!" The doctor called. I pushed with all my might and screamed. My insides felt like they were ripping open and on fire. I squeezed Andys hand and heard him gasp in pain. I loosened up on his hand

"Another push, he's crowning. 1...2...3!" The doctor announced again. I pushed again screaming. The nurse patted my forehead again as the other set up everything for when the baby was out. I was sobbing from the pain

"Almost there Ms. Fitzgerald. You're doing great. One or two more pushes and you'll have your baby. Push!" He exclaimed. I pushed harder and tried not to scream so loud. Tears were running down my face. Andy kissed my cheek and gave me a reassuring smile. I groaned loudly

"One more push!" I pushed harder than I ever had. The pain I was feeling lightened up and I heard a small cry. The room fell silent as we all listened to the cry. Tears flowed down my cheeks in joy this time

"It's a boy!" The doctor announced.I watched Andy cut the umbilical cord and the nurse take a tiny bundle to a table cleaning it off. The cries getting louder. I relaxed into the bed and sighed. Andy squeezed my hand with a huge smile on his face. The nurse walked over with a tiny soft blue blanket bundled up around a tiny body. She handed the bundle to me carefully telling me how to hold it. I moved some of the blanket from the baby's face revealing a beautiful pasty colored baby boy with little light brown hair. I gasped at the sight of him. Tears streamed down my cheeks again

"Did you have a name for the little one?" The nurse asked as the doctor cleaned himself off. I nodded peeling my eyes away from the gorgeous bundle of joy in my arms

"Carter John Biersack." She nodded writing stuff down on paper before leaving. Andy sat down next to me and watched me with our baby

"He has your natural hair color Andy.." I whispered to not wake the baby who had fallen asleep in my arms. Andy smiled more

"He's beautiful like you Hailey." I smiled. The others walked in quietly. The girls held in squeals of excitement as the guys just smiled at us. I passed Carter to Andy carefully. He gladly took him staring down at him. Star came over and hugged me. So did Sammi and the others. I smiled as Andy handed Carter to Sammi who cooed at him gently swaying side to side. She passed him over to Ella a few minutes later. Everyone got to hold him for a little bit before handing him back to me. A nurse walked in a few minutes later

"We're going to put Carter in the nursery so you can rest up Ms. Fitzgerald." I nodded and handed her Carter carefully. She left quietly. I laid back into the bed and closed my eyes exhausted. Andy whispered something to everyone and I heard them all leave. A pair of warm lips gently kissed my forehead

"I'm so proud of you baby girl." Andy whispered to me before I fell asleep.
