Changing Perrie Chp 6

Chapter 6

"Zayn." I tapped his shoulder multiple times to get his attention. "Look!" I whispered. We were crouched down on the floor of the kitchen, eavesdropping on Niall and Jade, who at the moment were enveloped in a heated kiss.

Zayn's back was pressed against the wall and he slowly crept his head around to see what I was pointing at. "Oh wow." He said calmly.

Boys. They just didn't understand. "Hey, be happy for them." I playfully slapped his shoulder.

"Oh so you wanna fight huh Edwards." He chuckled slapping my shoulder back, but careful enough so it didn't hurt.

"Come and get it." I licked my lips.

Zayn's muscular hands grabbed my wrists and he gripped them tightly. "I've got your arms Edwards what are ya gonna do now?"

I tried to wriggle free but Zayn was too strong. The more and more I struggled the harder Zayn would laugh. His laugh was contagious, so I couldn't help but giggle myself. Zayn finally let go of my arms, but quickly pulled me in so my back was nestled in his chest. He started to tickle me, so I naturally exploded into a pit of hysterical laughter.

Our tickle war was interrupted by a fake cough.

Zayn immediately stopped tickling me and we both turned our heads to find Jade standing above us. Her cheeks were tomato red, and she looked like she had just seen a ghost.

"I came to uhh get the coffee, erm any reason you two are on the floor?"

I quickly stood up and grabbed the coffee off the counter and handed it to Jade. I wiped the bottom of my pants. "No none at all. We were just messing around." I said awkwardly.

"Yeah likely story." She said taking the coffee from me and headed out of the kitchen.

Zayn and I looked at each other and just started laughing.

"Think she knows." Zayn said.

"Oh yeah she definitely knows." I nodded.

"Perrie!" I heard Jade call from the living room.

"Yeah?" I called back to her.

"Are you ready to go?"

I was having so much fun with Zayn, I didn't really want to go home just yet. But I didn't want Jade to feel obligated to stay, when I'm not exactly sure where her and Niall are at.

"Uhh sure just give me a minute!"

Zayn grabbed my hands and pulled me in close, our foreheads touching.

"You're gonna leave me Edwards?" He said with the puppy dog face.

"I don't want too." I said my tone saddening.

He placed his hands firmly on my waist, and kissed my lips gently.

"I'll miss you." He said placing a light kiss on my forehead.

"I'll miss you more." I said hugging him tightly.

"Let me walk you out?" He asked.

"Of course."

Zayn grabbed my hand and escorted me out of the kitchen.

"Come on Jade."

"Ready Freddy." She said.

"Look mate, I don't think I can drive home, mind giving me a ride?" Niall asked looking at Zayn.

"Uhh I'm a little worried to leave Liam, so you just wanna crash here too?"
