Its the night after Kyle went home. Not gunna lie, I miss that goof. Alex and Shannon came over for the night. We've been watching movies all night until now.
My phone has been buzzing on my nightstand but I've been ignoring it. Shannon looks at her phone then stops the movie. "Carmen call Kyle." She gets up quickly and tossed my phone to me.
"What? Why?"
"Kyle is crying out of control right now I guess." Alex looks up from her phone. "He's been trying to call you."
"Alright." I get off of the bean bag chair and walk into the hall way. And I call Kyle.
"H-hello?"
"Kyle what's wrong?"
"She uh... she's been cheating on me."
"Your girlfriend..?"
"Yes! She cheated on me while I was away the whole summer." I get teary eyes just listening to him. "The whole entire time! She even used my bed. I couldn't sleep last night knowing something was wrong.... then she came over four hours ago and told me. I broke up with her and ive been trying to call you. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!"
"Kyle calm down-"
"Were you with a guy too?"
"No no no hunny, I awas having a movie night with Alex and Shannon. I'll even send you a picture I posted in instagram."
"No it's ok. I don't why I would care... we're not dating anyways."
"Kyle...."
"Yeah?"
"Why don't you come back? You're happier here... Why not try and live here?"
"Not enough money..."
"Let me call you back ok?"
"Wait- where are you are you going?"
"I'm going to talk to my parents for a minute." I walk into my room.
"Don't leave me.. Please."
"Here. Talk to Shannon and Alex." I hand my phone to Alex. But hesitate to leave because I can still hear him scream 'don't leave' into his phone. "I'll be right back."
I run across the house to my parents bedroom and knock. I hear a faint 'come in.' I open the door and turn the light on. My mom is leaning up on an elbow while my dad sits up. "Hunny are you crying." My dad asks.
"He's hurting so much..." I walk to their bed and sits by their feet.
"Who?" He asks.
"Kyle. He's freaking out."
My mom get a out of bed and puts on her bathrobe and slippers. "Let's go Bill." My dad gets up and does the same. We walk over to my room and find Shannon on the phone.
"Kyle its ok. She just walked into her room-no she didn't leave. She's right here." She hands me the phone and I hand my mom the phone.
"Kyle its Carmens mom do you remember me? - Can you explain what's going on?" After a few minutes her facial exspretion changes from worried to pissed off to upset to really sad. My dad has his ear pressed against the back of my phone so he can hear as well.
"Do you want to leave Ohio Kyle?" My dad asks.
