I Won't Forget (3)

It's now graduation night and I feel a nerve tense up in my body. Not just because I'm officially becoming an adult, but because Shawn's going to be there. Someone I haven't seen a really long time. Someone I once loved.

"(Y/N)? You ready?" I hear my best friend, (Y/B/F) say.

"Yeah, I'm coming." I say. I take one look around and get up. This is it, I'm officially becoming an adults

*skip to the graduation ceremony*

"(Y/N)! I hear my professor say and I get onto the stage. I walk out and look out towards the crowd, seeing my family. I look at my mom who was crying and waving, but I saw someone next to her, someone I once loved. Shawn. I smiled bug and shook hands with the other professors and walked off the stage.

Once the ceremony was over, my mom came running into me, giving me a hug.

"I can't believe my baby is all grown up now." She says. I laugh.

"Mom is graduated before." I say, she nods.

"I know but you're officially an adult now. It's crazy." She says, giving me another hug. But once she releases me, I see Shawn appear.

"(Y/N), wow." He says. A smile spread across my face and I ran into him, giving him a hug.

"Believe it or not I've missed you." I say. He rubs my hair.

"I've missed you too." He says.

"Have you graduated college yet? What's been going on with you?" I ask him. He smiles.

"Actually, I've now got a record deal. Im a singer." He says, my face in total shock. I knew his love for music, he used to sing me to sleep or serenade me. But I didn't realize he'd ever take that as a career.

"Wow. Impressive. I haven't seen you on TV or anything. Probably because I've been so busy." He nods.

"God I've missed you." He wraps me into another hug.

"I've missed you too."

"(Y/N), I know it's been a while, and I know we just saw each other after several years, but I still love you. Seeing your face makes my stomach flood with butterflies. I know what I want, and that's you." I look down at the floor. I remember how much I loved Shawn, how much I cared for him. How every night I dreamt about our wedding and how our children will be, maybe I want that with him. Maybe he's the one.

"I love you too Shawn." I say. He smiles.

"Then (Y/N), please be my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend again. Make me a very happy guy." He says, I look into his eyes and know that he means it. He means every word, I knew he's been missing me. I'm positive if he's been writing songs, most of them were about me. I love him, I really do.

"Yes, I will." I say, he hugs me and I hear my mom.

"AWW! Finally! My two babies are together again!" Shawn laughs.

"Yeah, we are." I say, looking at his amazing eyes.

"I love you." He says and gives me a kiss. I smile.

"I love you too." And give him a kiss.
