this one will probably be short, like the previous. Some characters are harder to write about more then others. Apologies. It's such a drag, really.
At First Glance:
You were being set up on a date. It was ridiculous. Temari said he's be perfect for you, and this guy was already late. You had been a Leaf shinobi before the war, but had decided to stop being a shinobi at the loss of your left eye and arm. Now, 3 years later, you spend your time going from one village to the other, and making friends in all of them. Temari had been one of the friends you made, in the Hidden Sand at least. And you stubbornly mentioned that you'd like to settle down, but you weren't sure where. And she took that as you'd like a boyfriend or something, to help you find a place to stay, and she set you up with someone. You sat in an empty cafe, your head buried in a book, figuring he wouldn't show up. You threw some money on the table and exited the cafe, you headed out the door, and began walking away, keeping your head in the book. Unfortunately that meant you weren't looking where you were going, and you ran smack dab into someone, dropping your book and losing your page.
"Damn, lost the page." you muttered, bending down to pick it up, but it began to float up to you. "Oh." You whispered, grabbing it. "Thank you." You said, standing up and looking to the person you had bumped it too. You nearly dropped to your knees, in front of him.
"Are you alright?" The Kazekage asked you, his sleep deprived blue eyes widely taking you in.
"I should be asking you that, Lord Kazekage." You said, bowing your head. "I apologize for running into you. I shouldn't have been reading and walking." You said, shoving the book in your side bag.
"It is alright, I believe it is a good book." He replied, before walking past you, leaving you to be alone.
"That was so horrible." You said to yourself, heading back to your room at the inn.
A Second Glance:
You were sitting in the hot springs of the inn, your head tilted back looking at the night sky. You were still playing the meeting with the Kazekage had sent your head spinning. You knew that he was handsome, but you weren't expecting the unwavering blue stare. He was something else, that Kage.
"There you are, (Y/N)." Temari said, sitting in the water next to you. "You didn't meet with the guy I wanted to set you up with."
"He was late, Temari. I didn't feel like waiting, I was trying to finish a book I had gotten from the Hidden Mist from the Mizukage." You responded.
"Well, he is usually pretty busy, it's his job." Temari explained, "But he said he'd still like to meet with you."
"When this time, Temari?" You asked in annoyance.
"In 20 minutes, at the same cafe." She said with a chuckle and you growled, getting out of the hot spring. You didn't understand why you were even still agreeing to do this, you doubted it would even work out. You quickly dressed in a nice outfit, and took off to the cafe, luckily only 5 minutes away. The cafe seemed closed but a light was still on, you slid into the cafe.
"Hello?" You called out, walking towards the light.
"So you were my lunch time meeting." The Kazekage said as you came into his view. What the hell was Temari thinking?!? You shouted in your head.
"I had no idea, Temari hadn't told me anything." You said, no incredibly embarrassed, you had ran directly into your own blind date, skipping out on him. "I am sorry if my leaving disrupted anything in your work, Lord Kazekage." You finished.
