A/N: Sorry its been a few days. This might be more in Shino's point of view.

At First Glance:

Shino was silently walking besides Naruto and Kiba, who were in a heated discussion about Naruto's coming wedding with Hinata. Kiba wanted to be Naruto's bestman, but Naruto was going to have do it. Shino knew full well, Naruto wanted his best man to be Sasuke, but he hadn't returned to the village yet.

"But you've known me for so much longer!" Kiba argued, and Naruto laughed, rubbing the back of his head.

"Kiba, I don't think you realize, that if Naruto could have who he really wanted as his best man, it would be Sasuke." Shino finally spoke up, watching the bustle of the village behind the darkness of his sunglasses.

"I know that, Shino, but Sasuke is still out exploring the world, and hasn't returned yet. And I should be the second choice, or even Shikamaru or you or Choji or even Lee, but Sai?" Kiba argued.

"Sai is apart of team 7, just like me." Naruto responded, "And he is my friend, despite his awkwardness, which in his defense, isn't his fault, he was raised to be the way he is." Naruto said, but before he could say anything else, a bunch of girls ran up to him. Shino had grown used to this, and grown to expect it every time he was around Naruto.

"Hey, Naruto!" They said in union, except one. She stayed towards the back of the group, and she held a book to her chest, and was looking up at the sky. Shino watched the girl, as she slowly stepped away from the group and went to turn away.

"Hey, (Y/N). Aren't you going to thank Naruto for saving everyone during the war?" A girl shouted, and the girl who had been clutching the book stopped her slow backward movements and she focused a cold stare at Naruto.

"Sure, thanks Naruto, and Shino and Kiba. For risking your lives to protect these idiot girls, so they could flaunt around without a brain in their heads." She responded in a dead voice, "Now, since you dragged me away from my reading, I'd like to remind you that I, too, fought in the war, I have no reason to suddenly thank the comrades I fought with 3 years later." Shino didn't recognize her, but knew she was familiar.

"That's a lie." The girl who had spoken and before (Y/N) could respond, she walking up to (Y/N), shoving her. But before anyone could stop it, (Y/N) flipped the other girl, slamming her to the ground, and when she did this her shirt rose up, revealing scar upon scar that seemed to line her back and sides and it was strange to Shino. But he shook his head, and slid his bugs separating (Y/N) from the other girl, who at the sight of the bugs let out a high pitched scream, and fell on her back, but (Y/N) just tried to glare past them. Shino stepped forward drawing (Y/N)'s glare, and it automatically softened to an extent, but he physically watched her shoulders tense, and her body suddenly disappeared.

"Teleportion Jutsu?" Kiba said standing behind Shino.

"An extensive one at that, she must really be a ninja." Naruto said, and they began their walk again. After stopping at Naruto's and Kiba's, Shino headed to the Hokage building. He knocked softly on the door, and waited for Kakashi to invite them in. When he did, Shino walked in, and questions were flying around in his head.

"Well, hello Shino, what can I do for you?" Kakashi said, looking up from his paperwork.

"I wanted to ask about a fellow shinobi, I only know her first name, its (Y/N)." Shino asked, and Kakashi ducked into a cupboard and dug out a file.

"(L/N) (Y/N)... She was an Anbu Black Ops under the Hokage, she was a prodigy like a few others, graduated early and went on to be a Captain by the time she was 14." Kakashi said reading the file. "She was.... Why are you asking this?" Kakashi stopped and looked at Shino.
