Beep beep beep
I got out of bed slowly, Mondays weren't for me. I pulled on a beige sweater and black skinny jeans. Looking in the mirror, I fluffed my curly blonde hair, it looked fine so I let it go without straightening it. I ran downstairs into my pitch black living room, both of my parents were still asleep, but my twin brother was eating in the kitchen.
"Hey Zach, your turn to drive today." I said cheerily as I shoved my pop tart in the toaster. He rolled his eyes and nodded. Zach and I shared a car, and took turns driving each other every day. Ten minutes later and we were out the door and getting into the car. My phone buzzed as Zach started the car up.
Hey, why don't you sit with us at lunch today?
It was from Theo; my brow furrowed, I wondered why he wanted me to sit with him.
Who's us? I typed back.
Well I don't know if you know him but my friend Drew, you can bring a friend if you like ;)
I rolled my eyes at his stupid winky face. I can definitely not deny he's a player, it's kind of funny in a way.
Alright fine, I'll sit with you guys, just to see how it goes. I'm not making this an everyday thing though.
I'll sit with him this once, just to see how it goes.
I got to school twenty minutes before homeroom starts. I ran to my best friend, Angel's, locker. I saw her fighting with her backpack, trying to shove it into her tiny locker.
"Hey Blaire!" She brightened when she saw me, brushing her long dark bangs out of her face.
"I have us new seats at lunch." I said, winking, earning a puzzled look from her. "With Theo Rankoff and his friends."
"Oh is he your new boyfriend now?" Angel teased, putting her hands on her hips.
"No, ew God no, just a friend, but he wanted me to sit with him today and I'm not doing that alone." I explained. Angel hesitated, tapping her chin;
"Isn't Theo Rankoff friends with Drew Fisher?" She asked. I rolled my eyes and nodded;
"Okay I'm in!" She exclaimed, combing her hands through her straight brown hair. "This'll be fun." She said, swinging open her locker door to look in her mirror. She wrinkled her freckle covered nose and smiled.
"Alright, see you then." I winked and hurried to my locker, the hallway was empty for most people came later when homeroom actually starts
"Hey gorgeous." I heard a voice close to my ear I gasped and jumped;
"God you scared me!" I exclaimed, hitting Theo's shoulder, "and don't call me that." I rolled my eyes.
"Aw sorry gorgeous," he smirked, I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. "Ooo somebody's blushing." He teased. I looked down and he laughed.
"Want to cut class?" He asked.
"What? No!" I exclaimed.
"You're too much of a good girl." He complained and I rolled my eyes. "You roll your eyes a lot." He commented.
"It's a habit." I shrugged.
"I like it, it's cute."
"Oh my God, stop." I laughed.
"Stop what?" Theo asked innocently.
"Calling me cute and stuff, it's annoying." I replied, tossing my hair over my shoulder.
"Whatever gorgeous, anyways, want to see a movie tonight?" I said, ignoring my complaint.
"Tonight?"
"Yeah, it'll be fun." He winked. I wondered if he was asking me because we were friends, or a date.
"Um sure, can I bring a friend?" I said hesitantly.
"Sure, and I'll bring Drew, can't have a third wheeler." He said, smirking. My jaw dropped, this was a date. Wait, did I just agree to go on a date with Theo Rankoff, the biggest player in the school? Oh God what did I do?"
"Uh actually-"
"Cool, I'll pick you up at eight." Theo cut me off, the bell rang and the halls were filling up. Theo smiled at me then walked away.
Oh no, what did I do?
