Despite what had happened, Theo still came to pick me up the next morning. I smiled slightly when I saw his car pull up, glad that we hadn't let our friendship go.
"Hey," I mumbled as I got into the car with him, he smiled at me and started driving.
"Hi Beautiful," he smirked, I rolled my eyes but blushed. Well he certainly is the same player he always was.
"You still blush," he laughed, I rolled my eyes again.
"Just because we're friends doesn't mean I don't still like you a little," I said matter-of-factly.
"I knew you couldn't resist me," Theo teased.
"I'll get over you," I said with a wave of my hand.
"Well, I'll just have to make sure that doesn't happen," he winked. I shook my head and smiled, marveling at how easy it was to talk to him about this.
"Yeah, well, good luck with that," I flipped my hair.
"Thanks but, I don't need the luck, it'll be easy."
"Really?" I raised my eyebrows. "How so?"
"Well," Theo replied, parking in the school parking lot. "I can just do this," Theo leaned over and kissed me softly, my stomach did backflips, he pulled away and I looked into his eyes;
"Damn you, Theo."

I was a little giddy as I made my way to first period, kind of feeling guilty for going back on my vow not to let him do that, but overall happy. Maybe it didn't matter that he kissed me, I mean, if I guy and a girl are good friends, they'd have to kiss at least once. Except this is like the third time he's kissed me, whatever. I sat down in my usually seat in class, my friend, Thomas, turned around to greet me.
"Woah," he laughed. "Look at you, you're as red as a tomato." I smiled and covered my face with one hand.
"I'm just a little happy," I said through my fingers. Thomas looked skeptical, like he knew there was a boy involved, but he let it go. I kept thinking about the kiss all through class, and I jumped when the bell rang.
"So Blaire," Thomas said as we were walking out of class. "Who's the boy?" I laughed and shook my head;
"I don't know what you're talking about," I cocked my head and tried to sound innocent. Thomas rolled his eyes,
"Wow, I guess I won't get it out of you, huh?"
I shook my head and grinned, "nope."
Thomas smiled and walked away, I noticed Theo waiting at my locker, his eyes following Thomas who went to talk to the guys on his football team.
"Who's that?" Theo asked.
"Thomas? He's my friend," I replied simply, Theo raised his eyebrows and I smirked. "Sounds like someone's a little jealous."
"Yeah, well we're 'friends' but I still do this," Theo replied, wrapping his arms around me from behind. I blushed and shook my head, I noticed out of the corner of my eye, Delaney was watching us, looking furious. I pretended not to notice her and turned to Theo,
"You've got to stop doing that, I'm trying to get over you!" I scolded playfully.
"And I'm preventing that from happening," Theo replied smoothly, pulling me close.
"PDA!" Someone shouted at us, we broke apart and I blushed furiously, but I could say one thing for sure;
Theo was doing a pretty good job of keeping me from getting over him.
