8: True Colors

Lia's POV

"Gaiea, can I just sit here beside you?" I asked her.

"Okay, wait, I'll tell Celeste. Celeste, can you and Lia switch seats?" Gaiea asked.

"Okay. I'll just sit beside Miku." Celeste answered with a deep voice. Her eyes are creeping me out. They look deadly.

"Thanks eonnie." I said. She kept quiet and grabbed her bag harshly. What's with her today?

"Gaiea." I whispered. She turned to me. "What's up with Celeste?"

"No idea." Gaiea replied. Oh well, nevermind about her, maybe she has her period. Class was boring but there are some funny moments. We had our lunch without Celeste. She's with Ah-Seun, Miku, and Neil today.

"She really won't notice us?" Gaiea asked. "I don't know. What did we do to make her avoid us?" I said. "I also don't know." Gaiea replied and continued eating. I stared at their table. Ah-Seun's eyes met mine. She rolled her eyes then continued talking to Miku. What's her problem?

"Turn your books to page one-thirty." Mr. Norris instructed. Many subjects have passed and still, she's not talking to us. Not even a "hi" or "hey".

"As you can see, the--"

*RING!*

"Let's call it a day. Goodbye class." Mr. Norris said. "Bye Mister Norris." we all said.

Few weeks later...

Celeste isn't staying by our side anymore. I have no idea why. *sighs* What should I do today? Hmmmm...I'll just ask Gaiea to go out with me. I better call her.

*ringing*

"Hello?"

"Gaiea, are you free today?"

"Um...yeah, why?"

"Can we go out? I feel bored."

"Well...okay. Right now?"

"Err...yes. Thanks."

"Okay, I'll just prepare myself. See you later, 'bye."

"Hey Gaiea!" I greeted. "Hi best friend! Where shall we go?" Gaiea asked. Um...oh of course! "Let's go to the park near the university. Is it okay? I haven't been there before." I asked. "Okay, let's go." she said.

Lune's POV

"Ssang, gwaenchana? (Twin, are you alright?) Is there something bothering you?" I asked. She looks mad.

"No and no." Celeste replied.

"Why are you frowning then?" I asked.

"I have a visitor today." she replied. What visi--"Oh that's why. Mianhae (Sorry)." I said.

"Gwaenchanayo (It is alright), let's just sit there." Celeste suggested, referring to the spot under the tree. We're in the park today because we have nothing to do at home. We sat down on the bench and kept quiet since Celeste's head isn't cooling down yet. I looked around to see if there are familiar faces here. Wait, is that Mich? I better go check.

"Celeste, just wait here okay? I'll just go check something." I told her.

"Yeah sure ssang." Celeste replied. I stood up and started walking towards him(?). If you're confused, it's because I recognized the way he dresses and the skin color. He likes wearing an all-light-blue outfit. He's also wearing a cap with the visor facing the back. When I reached his spot, I silently walked closer to him. Whoa, that's new, he's so quiet today...
