Gaiea's POV
Another film project? As a whole class? Okay. Recently announced by our teacher in one of our major subjects, Mr. Golden a couple of hours ago.
"Guys!"
We lend our sight to Mina in the second row whose face turned bright.
"Finished our script! No complaints alright? I equally wrote lines for everyone but the camera crew." Mina brandishes five yellow pad pages with texts back to back. That was faster than normal, getting us all react in awe.
"How about we start?" Jia requests.
"Um...camera?" Dana asks. Yeah, camera?
"I have mine here." Lacey announces.
"Okay!"
"Right!"
Me with everyone agreeing.
Almost everyone approached Mina including me to read the script. I like this. I do admit I'm not so brave but I approve to this concept. It's horror. Our teacher wants a film with our current lessons applied to it, requiring plenty of effects and such, so basically the script or I should say this storyline is in.
With everybody's ears available, Mina told all the roles, if ever there were those who didn't bother to read the script.
Gladly there are zero objections and it's a-okay with us.
Mina didn't lie. She did a good job and the right thing with the script and the line distribution.
"We will shoot the school scenes first since we're here." Jia after talking to Mina and Lacey.
"Announcement! It isn't so early but Ms. Koffman beeped me here. 'This is urgent. Tell your classmates I will not be meeting you today. Good day and be well!' That means more time for shooting extended by our lunch break." the class leader Stella informed. That's wow.
Expect the class's victory cheer.
"Alright. Gaiea? Yun? Sten? Zera? Zane? Kiara? Brice?" Jia calls us.
"Yup?" -Brice
"What?" -Zane
"Yes?" the rest who were called.
"Huh? Oh our scene." I said with the second sentence soft and low.
"You're in this scene. Come over here."
We followed and are being told what to do the moment we neared ourselves.
Our scene was shot pretty well and only once. I have to admit I'm not very good in acting yet we only had one nice take.
The next were still made orderly. Maybe these students or Jia.
"Ah-Seun." I softly called Ah-Seun who just finished her first scene.
"Ye?"
"I'm going to the cafeteria. You're starving too right?"
"Yes. Kaja."
The cafeteria is right behind our room's building. Hale University isn't strict with cafeteria times, as long as a student is in need of food and it's his or her vacant period, he or she is free to go. Bro and I chose this school because of its friendly and considerate management.
Aside from meals, they serve snacks.
I bought a couple of bananas while Ah-Seun had granola bars.
Eating on the way back to our designated room, my eyes fixed on Ah-Seun looking...worried?
"Why that look?" Ah-Seun slowly looks at me. Sighed. Blew air to her front locks.
"Apologetic. I think I'm the cause of Celeste's ditching." That. I did notice Celeste often leaving earlier whenever Trix sits with us. She would excuse herself in need of the toilet but makes no comeback. I feel her though. Celeste is left out easily. She gets cut off everytime she attempts to talk with Trix or Trix and her boyfriend around.
Playing clueless, "Why is that?" I asked.
"With Trix in breaktime, I barely hear her communicate with any of us. I think she feels out of place." Finally, she realizes. Totally feeling sorry for that girl, she endures inequality and bullying. Things are too much for her.
"Oh. Yeah. I noticed. You might be angry after I say this but isn't it sorta intriguing that Trix almost never talked to Celeste? I witness her every move in lunch time whenever she's sitting with us. Even when I was on a different table with the 'divider' between the twins still present." Well, that stopped her from our tracks. Me too.
"Omona ne. Aigo...jamkkanmayo! Don't tell me..." Ah-Seun became suspicious this time.
"What is it Ah-Seun?" But I think we have a similar hypothesis.
"...Trix...hates Celeste too?" Precisely! "The thought is mutual." I said.
We walked again to get to our room. About to open the door, someone else did it for us. A Celeste filled with fury on the way out the building. Ah-Seun and I looked at each other's faces then eyes. Our feet automatically led us behind her to the benches. This is some kind of familiar scene...
That! When those antagonists blamed her for our missing test papers. They were never found and we had to retake, not everyone but many (not most) still accuse her. I was peeking from the building of our room while she, Ah-Seun, Neil, and Miku were here on the benches.
Some more presences are felt as we sat with her. Looking up, there's Miku, Neil, Lacey, Dana, Reid, and Beryl. Expect it: no tears, just madness.
Mich's POV
Never have I ever in my whole school life...
I heard that, from the neighboring room, those, whoever they are (I know only a few from their class.), classmates of Gaiea and Celeste who were ordering Celeste around and lambasting her for not getting the things they instructed right!
Yes, never have I ever got pissed in my whole school life. I mean my whole life.
My fists are curling tightly, the red color rising to my crown. I shook my head roughly controlling this unfamiliar perception.
I wouldn't grab any attention with all Lune's classmates in their own little worlds so I stood up, walked slightly heavily to Lune soundtripping and writing in a clean sheet of blue paper. Noticing me in front of him, he paused his bizz.
Surprised with me, "You're...angered? What's the matter?"
As calmly as possible, I managed to gently reply "Celeste, her classmates were at it again. They, I mean some commanded and resented to her. She follows and was scolded for not doing 'perfectly'." except for the last word that I uncontrollably pronounced sarcastically.
He turned off his phone and placed it with the blue paper neatly in his bag and left it there by moving away with my arm in his grip. Wait.
"Where are we off?"
"Benches. Ssang could be there again."
I spotted her easily with her friends, my sister, and some classmates surrounding her, each maybe letting comforting words out. One thing is for sure: she's not crying at all.
We got there at the same time they all glanced at us.
"Ssang." the twins called simultaneously.
He pats her back. I want to do that too but I'm not (yet) in the position to.
"How come you're well-loved while I'm completely misfortunate?" Celeste whispers to her twin brother. That was clear to me, I'm behind them.
Lune blows air out. "Not you. That's their problem."
Looking at the others with us, they all have the same sad faces. I easily lost my anger after, sadness replacing it.
It might sound silly or corny, but I hope I'll be that guy to comfort her like what Lune is doing now, soon.
