Celeste's POV

Another school day...

I dunno but I don't feel like today's gonna be good. Last weekend was flabbergasting and cheerful though.

"Alright! You're going to have a project. Not to worry, it ain't so difficult and..."

"Really Mister Hawthorne, suspense?" Den softly commented.

"...you'll do it by group."

"YES!"

"Okay okay quiet down now. Form your own. Seven members." and everyone started talking on who'll be with whom.

"Celeste, you're coming with us."

"Affirmative. Thanks Gaiea."

"No prob."

All are done. In our group's me, Gaiea, Ah-Seun, Ren, Meika, Lawrence, and Art. A person picks his or her best friends to be part of his or her group in most times. Neil oppa and Miku were supposed to be with us but Clare got them already then these best buddies approached us and filled the vacant spaces.

"Here's how. Submit next month. Record a ten-minute film on our current lesson." Mr. Hawthorne then closed the projector. "Any questions? I don't want anyone to flop of course."

"None." we all responded quickly.

"You sure?"

"Yes."

"Then we're done. See you tomorrow class!"

"B--See you tomorrow too sir." Mr. Hawthorne seriously doesn't like goodbyes; why we often say 'see you tomorrow' whenever he exits.

"What's the plan?" Lawrence asks us. "Hmmm...will going to a groupmate's place be okay?" Ah-Seun wonders then glimpses at Art. "Oh...sorry. We have guests." he explains. Lawrence who's sitting near him also can't offer his. Our four other groupmates stated about theirs not being available due to the same reason. My turn to answer. "It's a no too. Cleaning's needed. I have a suggestion though but you might not like it."

"Go ahead. It's alright." Art commented with his usual calm and low tone. "Since the setting should be outdoors, can't we go to Minneapolis? Sorry, it swiftly dawned on me. The city we're in's just a mile away from there." I'm actually a wallflower who's kinda afraid to suggest although I gathered enough courage to do so. Silence between us seven, knew it!
"Wow. I didn't think of that." Gaiea said. "Me neither. Where to meet?" Lawrence took his phone out the pocket to set a reminder I suppose. "Green Shop." Meika who spoke for the first time at this hour. "Okay but wait, everyone knows that area right?" I asked. "Of course we do." all groupmates responded. "Pardon me, I'm very considerate. Who knows one of us might be clueless of it." I added. "Gee, what you mean is you're too nice that anyone here might use you. *mutters* Watch out." Meika nudges me with her elbow after talking. "Indeed." Ren seconded.

"But Misis Huang!"

"Hey! Time's running. Start." Speaking of. Good grief there are even some computations in this test! Lemme tell you this: I.SUCK.AT.MATHS. This ain't our General Math though but wish me survival.

Five minutes later...

Solved. Now to check the choices.

None?! Harumph, told you! I tried, failed. We don't need to write the solutions down though, maybe I can make wild guesses on these.

"Wow smart. First to pass, Miss Clare Yuu." Mrs. Huang announced.

"Celeste." A classmate softly calls. I looked up from my armchair to see Ah-Seun handing me a one-eight paper. "Answers."
"Gomabda? (Thanks?)" I mouthed and she smiled before continuing hers.

Another five minutes...

"Pens down. Pass your papers."

"How did you know I was getting troubled?" I confronted Ah-Seun quietly. "Mwoya? (What?) You didn't notice your own plaints? You we're like "Gah how complex." and "Huh I don't know anymore." eonnie. There were even some classmates snickering on you." You think I'm some natural copying machine guys? I'm stern.

Third Person's POV

"When one of your classmates is lamenting about how she can't solve."

"Does she even have a brain?"

"I know right. The questions are very elementary."

"Easy for you to say. I nearly got confused but I'm good."

These girls made Celeste their main topic while eating lunch, and still carried on with it when they entered the room and sat down. She couldn't confess how bad she is in computing since she's been bullied about it before. Her mom Hyoneul assured her she'll get the point in maths unfortunately things didn't turn out how she expected them to. Just as they were conversing...

"And here's 2D." Lia blurted. "Why 2D?" Anaisse raise one eyebrow. "Stands for Dumb Dumb." she replied. "Hey isn't that the Korean song released a week ago?" Renee asks, seeming interested. "Exactly. Really fits her." And they guffawed.
"Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb~" Lia began singing childishly. "Hey stop it hahahahahahaha pfft." Eileen reacted, trying hard to keep herself from giggling once more. Celeste obliviously sang along stilly as she's a fan of the artists.

On the contrary, the eavesdropping Carrie, pretending she's only soundtripping in a corner, replied to Lia indirectly, "You're on a different road, she's in the milky way, you want her down on earth but she is up in space."

The eating Gaiea became suspicious of their happiness. She's about to go near them but "Nah. I don't care 'bout them." and just walked past them to dispose the wrapper outside.

"Celeste, didn't you see how 'they' stare at you?" Ah-Seun glances at the side where Lia, Renee, Eileen, and Anaisse are. "Mwo...nugu? (What...who?)" Celeste asks without any idea. "The user and her new squadron." Ah-Seun held Celeste's head and made her look at their direction. "Duh. They made you a laughing stock due to the test. Lia was singing Red Velvet's Dumb Dumb, dedicating the song to you."

Celeste snorted and snapped her fingers before making a statement, "Is it my fault that my computing skills are this dismal? Everyone has their weaknesses. Why make it a big deal?" "Ne! How insensitive." Ah-Seun and Celeste now have questioning looks at the girl behind. "We didn't know your voice is as low as mine." Celeste referred to Gaiea's low register when she unexpectedly spoke. "Huh? Didn't you notice?" "Ah of course sorry. You know our language?" "Not so well. Just the basics. And ne (yes), I'm a Kpop fan." Gaiea smiled after. "Nice! Your bias?" Celeste and Ah-Seun both asked. "RapMon oppa. Hehe. You?" "Woo...Jimin oppa's mine." Ah-Seun replied while Gaiea raised her thumb and turned to Celeste. "Motionless Min oppa." "Cool." Ga-Seun then smiled.

"Dumb dumb dumb, dumb dumb, dumb dumb dumb dumb~" Lia continued singing while passing through in front of the three. "Hey haha!" her three other companions reacted. Ah-Seun almost raised her hand like a zombie because of irritation towards the girls and had it lowered by Gaiea. They checked Celeste at the same time and their eyes expanded then back to normal. Celeste's face is blank, mood unknown.
