5. Found

Then I heard a real notice, a little puppy whining. I saw the puppy walking slowly towards me, he looked so sad and lost.

"Hey..." I petted the puppy. He looked up at me. His eyes were full of sorrow and sadness. Just looking into them made me feel sad. 

The puppy whined even more. Like he wanted me to pick him up.

"I-Is it okay?"

Whining was the only sound he could do. It sounded like he tried to bark, but his voice was still weak.
I picked him up, he immediately accepted the hug I gave him.

"You're so cute." I said. He's adorable, I wish I could keep him.

Suddenly, I felt rain drops on my skin. It started to rain.
The puppy whined, he was getting cold. I took of my jacket and swept it around him.

"But hey. Where's your dog mommy?" I asked the puppy.

He just whined. The only thing he could do.

"I know how it is to not to be loved by your own mother. Well, your mother sure has many other puppies to look after. I don't know."

The rain even poured harder on me. I was getting cold, but the puppy was dry and warm.

"Why does my mom have to be like the that? Why?
I wonder, if dad is on her side or something. I wish he could do something to make it stop."

The puppy closed his eyes. He fell asleep, I could hear snores. But he was warm, so that was good.

"Should I even try to get home? Well... Tae do love me. He's the only one who at least shows it to me. I'm happy I have him. But I think he'll be fine without me. And I'll better stay with you, since you are all by you own."

Then I heard a bark. From a larger dog. The dog looked like the puppy I was holding, but grown up.
The dog walks towards me. She whined at the little puppy I was holding.
I sat down and let the puppy walk by himself. Happily, he runs to his mother.

"I'm happy that you've find your son." I petted the larger dog.

"You have your mother. I'm glad that you have her. Go home now." I said to the little puppy.

They walked away from me. After a while I couldn't see them.
The rain started to stop. But yet it was raining.
I'm just gotta stay here. Wait till the sun rises.

"Hwan!"
"I've been looking all around after you! You had me so worried!" Tae ran to me.
"I thought you were still playing hide and seek. But when you didn't answered. God... Don't do that!" He hugged me.

"I'm sorry."

"No more hide and seek outside. Got that?

"Okey."

"Let's go home."

I took his hand and we walked into the woods. The woods was so scary at night.

"What took you so long?" I asked Tae.

"I was just arguing with mom. Nothing serious."

"For how long did you argue?"

"For about 10 mins."

"What did you argue about?"

"Stupid things."

"Okey. Do we need to go across the woods?"

"No. But I think that the fastest way to our house. Or we have to walk all around the neighbourhood."

"Where's the field where we always go to?"

"It's right over there. If you follow the left path you'll get there. But how did you get on the other side of the woods?" He asked me.

"I chased a butterfly. Then I found myself in a grass field. But not the field where we use to go. The grass was high. And there were no flowers."

"Then?"

"I decided to go home. The sun was going down so I started to walk home. It was scary to walk alone in the woods."

"But how did you even get here?"

Should I tell him that I heard his voice in my head? No, that would be creepy.

"I don't know. I kinda got lost and just ran."

"You always end up in places where you shouldn't and you don't even know how you'd get there."

"Yeah... But seriously though, what did you and mom argue about?"

"As I said, nothing serious. I just wanted to buy you ice cream and candy for us. But she wouldn't let me. She didn't want to waste money on a Sunday, she said. Does it really matter? Yeah, yesterday was Saturday. We had all the rights to eat what we'd like. But now it's not? I don't get the way she's thinking..."

"D-did you really argue with mom cause of me?" I had a feeling that wasn't the truth.

"It was worth it. The stupid way she thinks pisses me off."

"But you love her?"

"She's our mom. In the end, yes I do love her. Even though I'm mad at her now."

"You're not a-angry at me, r-right?"

"No, you learn from this. Don't walk in the woods without me."

"Lesson learned."

"You know the arguement I had with mom?"

"Yeah."

"I bought the stuff I wanted with my money instead. So your ice cream is in the freezer right now. If you still want some..."

I just couldn't hold it anymore. I let my tears burst out. He's so sweet.

"Huh? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?"

"I love you TaeTae.." I hugged him.

"I do it all because of you." He gave me a smile.

"Why?"

"Because you're worth it."

"In what way? I'm just trouble." I wiped off my tears.

"Even though you're a trouble magnet. I still love you."

How come? I'm the author and I still got feels when I read this myself. Oh my god Tae ;-;

And this chapter got a little longer. Heh. I cut this chapter into three chapters instead. Sorry if I confused you cause you thought there were new chapters.
I just thought, 46 pages... That's a lot to read. I couldn't read the whole chapter myself. So I decided to cut them into three parts.
