13. Fire

Jungkook's P.O.V.

"Kookie! You're next." my music teacher said to me.

"Good luck. Perform with emotions and everything you have, like you really mean it." Hoseok stroke his hand on my back.

"Gosh... So nervous." My hands were shaking. My whole body was. And my voice. I felt like I couldn't control anything

"Don't be. Now get up there and give everything you got!"

I took a deep breath and stepped up the stairs to the stage.

I need your love before fall, fall" The music started to fade away. 2 seconds of silence and then applause. My heart felt so warm, so happy. I sang it to him. I did.

"Oh my god Kookie! You were amazing!" Jimin gave me a hug.
What? Did he listen?

"I wonder why an entertainment company haven't signed you yet." Taehyung winked at me.

"Who was the song about?" Jimin asked.

I hesitated. Looked at Taehyung, waiting for a signal from him.

"Not yet." he lip synced.

"It's a secret."

"Oh come on... It must be someone we know."

Yeah. It's you pabo.

"Jimin..." I took his hand and stared into his eyes. I gotta be serious now. I can't keep playing.

"How am I gonna say this?" I lost the words. Tongue tied...

"What is it?" Jimin was confused.

"Chimchim... I love you."

"Woah..."

"Umm... I didn't know you feel it that way. But umm... maybe we can go out?"

Not a yes, but not a no. Good enough.
Taehyung made a thumbs up sign from distance, he smiled like an idiot. Cute though.

Later that afternoon, Jimin suggested that we should go home to his place. Drink some coffee at his balcony.

That Friday afternoon, was so special to me. He was so open, like a book. Such a happy person with the most beautiful smile in the world.

On my way home I couldn't stop thinking about him. The way he giggles, the way he says my name. Such an angel.

"So how was it?" Tae asked when I closed the door.

"Wonderful. Like a fairytale."

"Good for you. But be careful Jungkook."

"What?"

"So what did he say before you went home?"

"I'll call you." Then he gave me a long warm hug."

"Hmm... Did he really say it that way?"
