Okay guys! This chapter is a little...i don't know what to call it but I'm starting school on the 3rd so I'm getting as much done as I can!! I met this girl on Instagram and she writes amazing fanfics about R5!! We wrote this together but she did the most! I hope you like it!! -@Jessicaisme123

-Maia's POV-

I went to my house and no one was home except me and him. I turned and looked at him. "So...we haven't talked in awhile." I told him. "What did you want to talk about?" "Listen, Maia." He said walking closer to me. "Should I be scared?" I said joking. "Can we try something?" He asked me. "Sure." I said suspiciously. He walked closer so he was right in front of me. "Riker?" I asked him. "Maia I like you." He told me.

I let that sentence soak in for a minute. What is he saying? Is he just kidding? I opened my mouth ready to respond when I felt lips crash onto mine. After a few seconds he leaned away, I rushed my lips to his immediately.

While we were in a full blown make out session, it made me think. What am I doing?! I can't cheat on Ross! It would hurt him if I did this with a stranger but it will hurt him more knowing that it was me and his brother. Now Ross had a reason to follow me at school earlier today. He thought I was cheating and now I am.

Riker pushed me against the wall near the front door and I heard him twist the lock. I snaked my arms around his neck and his hands were on my waist holding my body against his. Our lips met again and I couldn't stop thinking about Ross.

Riker moved his lips off of mine and he went in again but I stopped him before he could touch my lips. "What about Ross?" I asked out of breath. "Ross doesn't have to know." He told me. "Riker, we can't do this." I finally told him. I really wanted to but I'm with Ross. "You're right." Riker said firmly. He stormed out the door and slammed it. "Riker!" I yelled opening the door watching Riker get into his car and drive away. I sighed.

-Riker's POV-

I can't believe Maia! She had the nerve to get my hopes up then she says that she can't kiss me! I think she did that just for her own satisfaction. I should tell Ross. Get it over with before he finds out another way. Maia would kill me though. She really does like him. Maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should. I don't know.

-Maia's POV-

I feel so bad now. I just hurt Riker's feelings and he probably hates me. But I did hurt Ross too, he just doesn't know it. Yet. Ross is gonna know something's up when Riker ignores me or gives me rude looks. I should tell Ross. Or maybe I shouldn't. If Riker does...I'll kill him. For real.

-NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL-

-Maia's POV-

*Ding ding ding* I looked at my phone. It was a message.

I was waiting for a response when my phone gets snatched away. "Is that Ross?" Debby says in a flirting voice. "Gimme!!" I said to her, people were starting to look. "Riker?" She whispered stopping in her place. People were done staring now. "Can I have it back please, I have a headache and I really don't feel like doing this." I told her. "Feel better." Debby said giving me a hug. "Thanks." I said smiling.

I love Debby, she's the most best friend a girl could ask for. "Well you better get to class." She told me. "Can we talk later?? Maybe right after school?" I asked her. "Meet me at the main office." Debby said. We smiled at each other before we went our separate ways.

This was our last class of the day. I still wasn't feeling very good, I think it had something to do with Riker. I just wanted to confess to Debby and maybe that would make me feel better. I looked at the clock, we still had 10 minutes left of class. I looked around the classroom. I saw everyone writing down notes in their notebooks, like I should be doing. I saw Ross and Rydel and Riker.

I saw Ross sitting at a desk. He didn't deserve to be cheated on. I looked around one more time and saw Rydel. She won't want to be my friend after she finds out that I cheated on her brother. I loved Rydel. She's one of my best friends, right after Debby.

I glanced over at the clock and now there was 7 minutes left. My heart was beating fast and loud and it sort of began to hurt. It felt like my heart was gonna come out of my chest. I couldn't take it any longer, I was going to explode. I grabbed my bag and got off the chair. I could feel people looking. My heels clicked against the tiled floor as I started fast walking my way to the door. "Is there a problem Miss. Mitchell?" Mrs. Brown said. I didn't answer. I reached the classroom door and opened it, you could hear the door open and close.
