-Maia's POV-

It's been a while since me and Ross last talked, about 4 days. I was so mad at him for not trusting me that I just couldn't talk to him right now.

Anyways, right now I'm at school. As soon as I reach to open the door I hear someone behind me. I think quickly and hope that it's not Ross. I turn around with a nice fake smile on my face, it was just Rydel. "Rydel!" I said. "I didn't know who you were!" "Well obviously because you just turned around!" She said feisty. I didn't blame her for being like that, there's been a lot going on lately. "So, have you talked to Ross lately?" She asked me. "Not since we were in the taxi." I reasoned quickly. "I don't blame you." Rydel told me. "Why would you?" I asked her. "I don't know." She said fast. "What's going on?" I asked her confused. "Nothing." She said. I sighed quickly and walked thought the last pair of doors.

I walked quickly trying not to make eye contact with anybody. I knew that if I did, I would hear at least one comment about the magazines. I was walking to fast to realize that I ran into someone. "I'm so sorry!" I squealed. "I'm surprised." I heard a familiar voice say. Then I knew that it was Ross, "Look, Ross." I said firmly. "Save it." He said gathering his books and standing up. "I'm sorry for being rude to you earlier this week. I was just, caught up in the moment." I said trying to regain my confidence. "You don't need to explain yourself ." Ross said without looking at me. "Ross! I'm trying to apologize here!" "Why?!" He yelled. "You didn't bother to do that in the taxi! All you cared about was yourself." People were watching us argue.

He walked off and went up to his locker. Suddenly, I felt sleepy and dizzy. I started to get a major headache from my head spinning. I held my forehead for a minute while people went back to their own business. I started to feel weak, I just shook it off and took a step forward. I felt even weaker then I did before. I heard someone rush up to me. "Are you okay!" Debby squealed. "What makes you think anythings wrong?" I said in a soft voice. "I had a feeling, c'mon I'll help you." She said gesturing me in the direction of a bench. We sat in awkward silence until something happened.

-Ross's POV-

"You what!!!!" I screamed at Rocky in the hallway. Everyone was looking at us. "Dude, I'm sorry!!" He said fumbling over his words. I can't believe this. Rocky had my girlfriend get pregnancy tests for him. I was mad at Maia for trying to stay out of my family's business when all she was trying to do was protect me. I made a 'ughhh' kinda sound. I glanced around the hallway and saw Maia and Debby looking at us. "You're an idiot." I murmured. "I said I was sorry." Rocky said. I walked over to Maia and sat down next to her. She didn't look very good. "I'll leave you two alone." Debby said leaving her spot on the bench. "I'm sorry." I said. "I was mad at you for not telling me the truth but now I realize all you were trying to do was protect me. And I'm sorry for you because you don't look well, are you okay?" "Thanks." She said with a fake smile. She tried getting up but she fell right back onto her spot on the bench.

"Okay, now I know something's the matter with you." I said to Maia. "Do you feel okay?" She didn't answer. "You're not, you know, are you?" I asked her. "No, I'm not pregnant Ross." She said glancing over at me. "C'mon, I'll take you to the nurse." I told her.

-With the nurse-

"So, Maia. I'm gonna give you some medicine then you should feel all better." Nurse Nancy said. I looked over at Maia who was sitting on the bed platform covered in sketch paper. She was starting to look a little better. Nurse Nancy came back into the room breaking the awkward silence. She handed Maia a glass of water and 2 weird looking pills. Maia put the pills in her mouth and took a drink of the water, swallowing the pills whole.

-2 hours later-

-Maia's POV-

I was feeling a lot better since Ross took me to the nurse. I walked into class and sat down in my spot in front of Cierra (Ramirez) and behind Ross's.

I felt even better after class. Next was free period, which was supposed to be social studies. I hate social studies!! It's always sooooo boring. For free period we have some choices. We can leave the school as long as we're back in time for our next class or we can hang out in the courtyard or we can just stay in the classroom and listen to music, watch a show, or anything like that.

I wasn't sure what I was gonna do, maybe go out with Cierra and Rydel and Debby. We were talking about it the other day, our teacher usually let's us now when there's gonna be a free period.

I was walking to my locker to get my car keys when Ross came beside me. He wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my cheek. "Someone's in a good mood." I said smiling. "Just glad you're feeling better." Ross said. I reached my locker and stood in front of it. Ross hooked his arms around my waist and hugged me from behind. I chuckled to myself. As soon as I opened my locker I searched around for my keys. I finally found the blue bejeweled strap hooked around my keys and pulled it out of my small space. I tried to walk away but Ross didn't want me to. "Noooo!" Ross whined as I tried to find the girls. "Ross, people are starting to stare." I said trying to get his grip off.

Why is Ross so clingy?? What's going on with Delly??? Is the Rocky thing just an excuse??? Why was Maia not feeling good?? Where's Riker!? It's all in the next few chapters!!!!! Love youuuuuuuuuu 😘😘😘😘😍💋 -@Jessicaisme124
