Crushes (Pt. 1)
{Thursday, September 18, 2014/12:06pm, The CAAM, Paradise}
As I wait in the long line for Paradise's Happy Burger station, someone catches my eye. A girl who's a bit shorter than me, I'm 6'0'', stands in front of me, her rainbow hair the most unusual thing in the CAAM. The left side of her head is semi-shaved. I see her long fingers tug at the green wisp where her left sideburn is. All the hair that isn't shaved is pulled into one of those low, side ponytails girls wear. Since her ponytail is draped over her right shoulder, I can't see how long her hair is.
My eyes start to look at her curves. They may be covered by a black, long-sleeved sweater, a white, long-sleeved, school shirt, and black, denim shorts, but her shirt and sweater hug her curves and her tight shorts only reach her toned thighs. And she's got more ass than half of the girls in this school. Her golden skin has me wondering if she's mixed race.
"Wow, you're perfect," I mumble aloud, in some odd trance.
"Hmm?," the rainbow-haired girl asks with a raspy voice, turning around, her violet, left eyebrow raised.
She's even more perfect! She's... hot!
"Wow, you're hot!," I blurt out stupidly.
"Uhhh," the rainbow girl says with a chuckle, her dimples and white smile driving me crazy, "Thanks?"
My cheeks are burning. Why did I blurt that out?! >/)< The hot, rainbow-haired girl, who looks somewhat Asian, is probably creeped-out now!
"Spike," I hear my older sister, Twilight Sparkle, say to me as she cuts me in the Happy Burger line, smiling, "Stop flirting with my friends. (*To the rainbow girl*) Sorry, Rainbow. That's my little brother."
"Oh, so that's Spike," Rainbow replies, nodding and still smiling, "He just randomly blurted out that I'm hot, lol. Like, what? (*To me*) Thanks, kid."
"A-anytime," I say, attempting to give a flirtatious comeback, but I stutter and ruin it.
Rainbow and Twilight start giggling. EPIC fail. O////O

||Twilight Sparkle's POV||
Adventures With Sirens/Helping Fluttershy... Almost. O.O
{12:13pm, The CAAM, Paradise}
Once I finally sit down at a table with Rainbow Dash, Cocoa Dream, Vinyl Scratch, Soarin', and Fluttershy, I tell them what happened with the Sirens this morning. All 5 of my new friends stare at me, shocked expressions replacing their smiles. Not that Rainbow was smiling; the minute she saw Fluttershy, her mood just... turned dark. Soarin' had convinced her not to leave the table.
"Bruh," Vinyl begins, placing her sunglasses on top of her wild, blue hair, "Those Sirens are bad news. 'Cept Jonquil, who tries to counter their spells. She's cool."
"Yeah," I say sadly, "I know. (*Smiling*) And Jonquil seems so kind."
"She is," Cocoa replies, smiling, "I hang with her all the time."
"It's the damn Dazzlings you need to watch out for!," Rainbow says angrily, looking at me through squinted eyes, "Now. Why the actual fuck is Fluttershy here?!"
"Oh, that," I begin with a nervous grin, hoping Rainbow doesn't kill me, "You see, Fluttershy expressed -"
"Know what?," Rainbow asks, but I know it's rhetorical, "I give no fucks whatsoever. Tell the little traitor to just... leave."
"Twilight," Fluttershy says to me quietly, tears forming in her teal eyes, "I told you it was a bad idea."
Fluttershy gets out of her chair, grabs her food, and leaves our table without another word. I can hear soft sobs coming from her. Epic friendship fail.
