Chapter two: When we first met

Aphmau POV
So I arrived at Meteli and I got off my little boat and went to find the lord. I look around for awhile but I couldn't find him, as I walked around I wasn't watching were I going and I bumped into someone, he had light brown hair and baby blue eyes.
"Oh my Irene I am so sorry I wasn't watch-" I was cut off when I looked at him
"Oh my Irene he is so handsome" I thought
"It's ok really are you lost" he ask confused
"Um yes actually I'm looking for the lord" I replied nervously
"....." He stays quiet
"Um are you ok" I ask
"I'm fine it just the lord was my father and he was murdered the other day..." He explains starting to tear up
"I'm sorry for bring him up" I apologise
"No it fine but why do you need the lord?" He asked
"Well I am forming an alliance" I tell him
"An alliance eh? Wait are you a lord?"
He asks confused
"Um yes I am I am the lord of Phoenix drop" I replied
"Phoenix drop? Um can I ask you something?" He asks me
"Um sure" I replied
"Would I be able to come to your village to stay?" He asks
"But if your the old lord son don't you have to become lord?" I ask really confused
"No my sister is going to become lord" he replied
"Oh ok I guess you can come" I said "oh I almost forgot I am lord Aphmau" I said smiling
"It's nice to met you lord Aphmau I'm Laurance I was a guard here but now that I will be apart of Phoenix drop do you want me to be a guard there?" He ask me
"Yeah of course you can be my guard" I replied smiling and blushing a bit
"Great" he said smirking at me
"Um can I talk to your sister about the alliance" I ask
"Yeah of course m'lady" he replied
I followed Laurance down the cobblestone path until we stop at a girl with orange hair and baby blue eyes
"Oh hello miss..." Said the girl
"Aphmau, lord Aphmau" I tell her
"Well hello lord Aphmau I'm lord Cadenza it's nice to met you" she said holding he hand out for me to shake
"It's nice to met you too lord Cadenza" I replied shaking her hand
"Lord Aphmau is here to speak to you" Laurance said smiling
"So lord Aphmau what did you want to talk about" Cadenza said nicely
"I want to know if you will join the Phoenix drop alliance? I tell her
"Of course we will join" Cadenza said with a big smile
"Oh and Laurance wants to come and be my guard at Phoenix drop if it's ok with you" I said nervously
"Yeah that's perfectly fine" Cadenza replied
"Thanks Cadenza" Laurance said walking over to her to give her a hug
