"What?" He spoke quietly, you moved you nail over his jawline which even you couldn't deny was perfectly chiseled, and added move pressure cutting his skin.
"I want...
-----
"I want you to come with me" you whispered into his ear letting your warm breath run over his skin. His facial expression was just how you had imagined it to be... He was confused. "I have to leave" you sighed walking away from him and over to the window. You let your eyes roam the city that laid below you, you let your thoughts take you away somehow letting your body relax but before you subconsciously let your guard down you looked away from the bleak landscape and back up at Grayson.
"I don't understand" his voice was suddenly laced in something you could only recognise as confidence, although you could easily fend for yourself and you didn't need anyone to protect you, you didn't want to go alone.
Grayson had always stood out in the 'meaningless' fitness tests you gave to all your employees, but what they didn't know was that they weren't meaningless they where what you used to decide who was the strongest, fastest and who had the quickest reactions.
Once you had been given the message that the police would be raiding your building to try and catch you, you knew you had to flee the country and you also knew that it was the time that you needed to ask your best performing employee to come with you, Grayson.
"The police are after me, and I want you to leave the country with me" you stood a few meters apart making eye contact both of you not one bit fazed by the others dominance.
"You expect me to just pack up and leave my life behind, my family, friends and my job" you chuckled and he looked offended that you weren't taking him seriously, "I am your job".
"And yes I do expect you to do that" he stayed silent still looking at you but he wasn't concentrating on you he was buried in his own thoughts, the pros and cons of leaving with you specifically.
"Okay" your eyes slightly widening at his words, you hadn't expected him to agree to this after his initial protest, bushing away the tiny slither of shock you smiled, well it was more like a smirk, "good, we leave tonight".
He signed hoping have more time before having to leave but knowing that this would be the only option "okay".
You walked over to your desk and sat down gesturing to take a seat in front of you, he sat down with no hesitation.
*that night*
The world seemed empty as you waited in the darkness of the back of your building, you saw a figure walk around the corner facing your car directly, you shone your headlights on them, it was Grayson.
You got out of your car and opened one of the back doors for him to put his things in, you got back in fastening your seat belt and starting the car up, you didn't even need to look to the passenger seat to know that Grayson was in the car.
You could smell the musky aroma of pine slightly tinted with a subtle sent of mint, the kind used in breath mints. The silence was abruptly broken by his somewhat tired sounding voice,
"Where are we going?" you smiled to yourself, "one of my holiday homes" he looked at you annoyed at your vague answer, "where's that?"
"Either the Swiss Alps, Australia, Italy or the Maldives..." You paused for a few seconds "which ever flight comes first".
Through out the car journey to not a single word was said both of you staying silent you concentrating on driving and Grayson on his decision. His finger gently taped on his thigh something you had noticed he did quite often.
You parked your car about thirty minutes by taxi away from the airport, "what are you doing", "I have to dump this car, they could track me" you said getting out the car.
You had walked about five minutes to the nearest gas station and called a taxi service to take you to the airport, once again you felt the way you had whilst waiting for Grayson,
you felt like the only one alive like there had been an apocalypse and you two were the only survivors, but that was soon shattered when the road was lit up by a car moving slowly down the road.
It was your taxi, you both got in and the grey haired man drove off not knowing he was helping the most wanted woman alive escape. The radio filed the car playing a mix hip hop and pop but each song sounded like every other generic piece of music.
The plane journey had been the same as any other you had been on although this one you knew was different, this one was the one which would change your life forever, you had fled countries before but always planned to come back but this time you were leaving for good.
You arrived at the one place you hadn't mentioned earlier in the car journey, England. You didn't have a holiday house here it was more like a home.
It had been where your grandparents had lived there whole lives and now that they had passed it was yours.
As you started to go through security you heard Grayson shout "here" before you could even turn around to see what was going on you felt three strong bodies push you to the ground.
Cold metal wrapped around your wrists you pushed your head up to see in front of you, there were at least 10 men in protective clothing and helmets holding guns aimed at you, "(y/n y/l/n your under arrest for murder, man slaughter, theft,..." The list kept going on.
They pulled you harshly off the ground and you looked to your left, Grayson was there smiling at you, he was undercover police, just waiting until the right moment to pounce and you walked straight into the trap.
