"We're getting married!"

Beths POV

I calmly picked up my brush from my dressing table and began brushing my hair whilst singing weapons.

I then put on my white floral tank top and light blue ripped jeans


My phone beeped and I saw a text from Maggie that read....

'I'm so excited for dinner later,I'll see you there x'-one hour ago

I gave a half smile and looked at the time of the message and then the time on my phone

"Half 2!" I shouted in a rush and raced to the front door

I picked up my keys and shoved my leather jacket,black ankle boots and black satchel on.

I ran out of the door of my (surprisingly clean) white apartment then down the little steps and into my little silver car.

My phone started ringing and I picked it up and saw Maggie was calling me and so I quickly answered..

"Where are you?" Maggie asked

"I'm so sorry I didn't realize what the time was"I explained.

"Well hurry up because everyone's waiting and Daddy's not happy,Shawn's going to be here in a minute"Maggie added

"Damit!" I shouted slamming my head against my steering wheel.

 I quickly got out the car and began running back up the steps to my apartment.

"What?" Maggie asked in a confused tone.

"I forgot Shawns card"I shouted "Maggie I gotta go, I'll be there soon" before I thought about it i hung-up and opened my apartment door grabbed the blue envelope labeled 'Shawn' and ran back out the door

I jumped into my car and began driving down the roads with the sun burning down onto me.

I finally pulled up onto the farm house drive and took in the sweet smell of freshly cut grass.

I grabbed my stuff and headed inside,everyone I expected was there-Maggie,Mom,Dad,Shawn,Glenn and even my auntie and uncle,Patricia and Otis

"Hello!"I shouted making my way through the door

Everyone greeted me and I hugged everyone

"Where were you?"Daddy asked with a serious expression.

"Sorry I didn't keep track of the time"I looked around to see Shawn at the table,so I went over and hugged my big brother whilst I handed him his card.

"Happy birthday!"I laughed and then hugged Maggie and Glenn.

I watched Shawn open his blue card as the money fell onto his lap,"Thank you" Shawn smiled

I then went to take a seat around the large wooden oak table.

"Glad you're here,I'm starving"Glenn laughed

I was sitting next to Daddy and Maggie as my mom started bringing out all the food that made my belly gurgle loudly consequently making everyone laugh at my starvation.

"How are you Bethy?"Maggie asked,passing me the potatoes.

"Fine,thanks just had another gig yesterday which was good..how's my favorite couple?" I asked to Maggie and Glenn.

"Well,as you do mention it we have some news,I was gonna wait till later,but..."Maggie added as my mind ran loose with all the thoughts of what it could be pregnancy,marriage,moving house again?

I looked around to see if the rest of my family knew what she was going on about,but they all had the same confused look as I did.

Glenn smiled at me and held Maggie's hand.
