I woke up really late, around 10:30 am. I went up to my room, and checked my phone. There is a text from Jake on the lock screen.

Jake: Would you like to grab a bite to eat today?
Sent at 9:46 am.

Me: Sure. Do you have any place in mind? Btw, sorry about the late text. Me and Lauren were up all night.
Sent at 10:36 am.

Jake: That's alright, I don't mind. I was thinking we could go to a McDonald's, since it's still early. Unless you don't wanna go there. Whatever you want Hun.
Sent at 10:38 am.

Me: I love McDonalds! Do you wanna pick me up in about an hour?
Sent at 10:39 am.

Jake: Sounds great Doll Face! See you around noon.
Sent at 10:41 am.

Me: See you then.
Sent at 10:44 am.
Seen at 10:45 am.

I locked my phone and went downstairs to where Lauren was. She was eating Trix cereal.

"Why were you upstairs?" Lauren asked me.

"I went to go check my phone for any texts or comments on Instagram or whatever, and there was a text from Jake. He's picking me up at about noon to bring me to McDonald's. Do you wanna stay here to watch the dog?"

"You know I do."

"Good, I'm going to go get ready, make yourself at home."

"Alright. If you need help with hair or makeup, I'm down here."

"I knew I could count on you. Well, I'm going to go take a shower."

"Alright."

I went upstairs to take a shower in the main bathroom. I got in, and let the warm water splash all over my body. I quick shampooed and washed my body with my fluffy light blue loofah and got out. I blow dried my hair and straightened it. I then got dressed in a light blue skater dress and white kimono. I put my usual makeup on - foundation, concealer, silver eyeshadow, winged eyeliner and waterproof mascara. I also put on some light pink lip color. I walked downstairs around 11:45 to see Lauren playing fetch with Honey. She stopped when she saw me.

"Well well well! You look adorable!!" She told me.

"Haha, thanks. Do you think I should wear a white flower crown?"

"Yup, and make your hair wavy."

"Alright, will do."

I went back upstairs to curl my hair a little and grabbed my flower crown. I put it on, and then put a product in my hair to smooth it out. I grabbed my white and blue sandals and strapped them on. I then walked back downstairs and was just in time, as I heard a doorbell ring. Honey barked a little bit, and then stopped. Lauren greeted Jake with a hello, and allowed him in. His mouth dropped as he laid his eyes on me.

"You look beautiful." He said with a smile. I blushed a bright red.

"Thank you." I also said with a smile.

"Shall we be leaving?"

"Sounds great."
